Music and Lyrics // By Darren Claxton

Good Morning World!

Someone, a few years back, at one of my gigs, told me that, and I quote... 
"Darren, you're a poet and you didn't know it" 

At school, I really only had passion for music and teaching myself how to play drums, keys and later, guitars. 
Was I subconsciously soaking up all that information from our English and literacy lessons that we were bombarded with back then, or has it only just surfaced since becoming a Songwriter?

I'd like to share the lyrics to a song I wrote with you this morning. It was actually then magically  transformed into a song
called Thorny Waves.
