It is always good to have a pen in your pocket as you never know when you can write something. One time I was at McDonald's and I usually don't go out to McDonald's, but since I was there I took out a pen and some paper.
I bought 2 hamburgers and asked for a cup of water. I even took a picture of them before I ate it. You might be asking, Well, David did you write a blog in McDonald's? Well, yes I did.
It was about a year ago, I called it, My Neighbor Gave Me A McCoin. I just went over it again. I forgot I wrote of all that. It was interesting to go over that again.
More than forty years ago when I was young I did work at a McDonald's. I think that is when I started to favor the Quarter Pounder hamburger over the Big Mac.
I guess putting all the Mac sauce on all the Big Macs I used to cook made me not to favor the Big Mac as when I was a little kid I really like the Big Mac. Well, now days I don't do much fast foods.
Well, I would rather save money and cook my own food. So there was a time when I was younger that I would go to McDonald's a lot.
The other fast food restaurant is Jack in the Box. I'm talking about the late 70's when the Jumbo Jack was really a big sandwich. Then somehow they wanted to save money and did a change, making it thick and juicy, but it was not the same.
It was like when there was a new Coke and the people rebelled and they brought back the Coke Classic as a new/old drink. Funny how that happened.
Well, with Jack in the Box, I was hoping they would bring back the way they did the Jumbo Jack. Maybe they can bring back and call it the nostalgic Jumbo Jack. Who knows, if they bring back that hamburger the way they made it in the 70's as I remember it maybe I might go get me a nostalgic Jumbo Jack.
Yes the old way of the Jumbo Jack was that the diameter of the sandwich was so big that they laid two slices of cheese side by side, on the same side. Well you can't do that with the current Jumbo Jack.
I knew it was a bad thing as soon as they did that change, then when I used to go to them a lot, I stopped going. Too bad. If the meat cost too much, just charge more. Oh well, I guess they won't bring it back the original Jumbo Jack, that is too bad.
Oh well, I don't even go to fast foods places that much anymore, but that original Jumbo Jack was really a good hamburger and in that day, I don't think I found it's like.
Now if they ever bring back the original/nostalgic Jumbo Jack, I will go into that place with a pen and some paper in pocket and write a blog about how they finally brought back the original/nostalgic Jumbo Jack whose diameter was so big, that they could lay 2 slices of cheese side by side on the same side.
If they brought it back they might even use the large diameter of the sandwich as one of their selling points.
