___If I were to ask many of us to tell the most difficult things for you to do, I am sure that many of us would make some fine guesses. Climbing an exceedingly high mountain may be appear to some people a very difficult task, but it is not impossible.___
There were those who taught that the one-time chaotic condition in our country which led to much shedding of blood and which brought about deeps wounds of bitterness among certain ethnic groups was a situation that could not lead to peace and mutual trust again or that Creator (God) could not do it. That was declaration of unbelief in the power of God to bring peace to where there was discord, difficult thing to do is to change a stubborn and difficult child into submissive and good-natured boy.
None of these and many more are really the most difficult from my opinion. The most difficult thing for all of us to do is to obey. Men, for many years, have known the difficult that surrounds this act and have coined the expression, ‘Obey first and then complain’. Instead of obeying, men would choose to complain and thus avoid shame.
But the true is that, who is to obey? When to obey? Most of the Leaders or one who called to lead people has lost their own moral, they have disappointed their people and failed them many times, if those leaders or parent ask their society or children’s to respect the rules and regulation guiding the society or home people wouldn’t yield or listening to such instruction, a leader who want people to follow or respect his words, must firstly be the someone who respect the law himself and obeying it every times, a leader or parents must live by an example.
Children often show a determination to refuse to obey parental order, even as early as when they are one year old. When told to do or not to do certain things, they retort, ‘No’. As they grow up into manhood they carry this misdemeanor with them with the result it creates problems, and heartaches for them, from which they cannot easily escape.
To obey is to qualify for treasures unlimited, but to disobey is to invite displeasure and discomfort of unlimited degree. If we obey the mores of our society, that is, the rules and regulation by which our society demands right conduct and well-balanced behavior, we would not have such moral decadence or moral anarchy that afflicts our body politic today.
Parents, guidance and all, it is everyone responsibilities to teach children to obey the mores of our society, that is, the rules and regulation by which our society demands right conduct and well-balanced behavior, before they grow up to become an oppressed Leader, who will afflicting his society by misuse of power, ceased freedom of expression from people and who so ever that stand against him will pay bloody for it.
We know that army discipline demands obedience to instructions. No one ever questions the orders of a superior military officer. Any infraction of such an order may mean instant death by shooting. Hardly, we can differentiate between military rule of government and the so our democracy, a democracy which is rule by a member of society; they are part of the society before they get into position of power, but afterward, they will turn their back against the society or peoples who support them, well such leader should expect karma visit them one day, or death will remove them from the power.
