***What makes a moment special is not the moment itself, but how one interprets the moment.*** Just a single moment can have a significant impact on a person's life. Undeniably, life is full of good and bad moments, and each day brings various moments into our lives.
***We all have a special moment in our lives and this is mostly the day our dreams are fulfilled.*** Although with time, this memory get blurred, but it definitely remains in our mind and whenever we remember these moments, we get thrilled and excited.

***I can never forget one of such special moment which was accompanied with a special gift in my life.***
***It was a rainy evening, I was sitting in the balcony outside my house***, watching the endless rain pouring down and splashing into the large puddles that now filled the road when I became cold and decided to go back into the house.
I was eagerly awaiting the result of the JAMB exam I wrote. **This exam guarantees if one is to be given admission into a university in Nigeria or not.**
**Joint admission matriculation board exam is seen as the most difficult exam for students in Nigeria.** A lot of persons keep failing this exam every year because of how difficult it is, ***but I made a vow to myself that I will only be writing Jamb once***. I worked really hard for the exam and so, I was confident that I would make it but again, *anything is possible in Nigeria.*
***What if I have a missing record or my paper was marked wrongly?*** All these got me thinking.
***Dinner's ready my mum shouted. I immediately replied her that I'll be there in a minute.*** I rushed down to the dining table for dinner. I was somewhat restless and uneasy. My mum noticed this, and told me not to worry that she knows I won't disappoint her. ***βYeah, I won'tβ was my response to her with a smiling face.***
It's easier said than done. ***My mum has always motivated me to be the best I can in everything I do and so, I keep working hard, just to make her proud of me.***
As soon as I was done with dinner, I said my goodnight and went straight to my bedroom to get some sleep as I needed to get up early since the result will be released the following day. ***I lay on my bed for more than an hour but couldn't sleep. My mind was swinging between fear and hope. It was a strange stage of expectation and anxiety***.
I knew I did very well in the exam, but what if I don't get up to the cut off mark? ***I kept thinking until I eventually managed to sleep somehow.***
**The next morning was filled with curiosity and anxiety for me since the result will be released that day.** I got up early enough, took my bath and prayed to God to grant me success. I quickly checked their website, but the result was not yet uploaded. I was already getting more and more restless.
After 5hours of waiting, a friend called to inform me that the results are out. **I logged in immediately to the website to check my score and to my greatest surprise, I scored 298 out of 400 possible marks.** This was way beyond my imagination and far beyond the cut-off mark. ***I immediately thanked God for granting me success which after I jumped and screamed out of joy.***

I ran to my parents to give them the good news as my joy knew no bound. **They were absolutely overwhelmed with joy.** The whole atmosphere of the house changed at once. Friends, neighbours, and relatives came around to congratulate me. ***A small party was organised by my dad to celebrate my success. Truth be told, I have never ever being this happy in my life.***

I conquered the most dreaded exam in Nigeria in just a trial ***{this is the same exam people write more than five times}***. My admission was sure, same with my desired course of study.
***This is undisputably, one of the special things that has ever happened in my life. It was a special gift from God and a special moment I definitely won't forget in a hurry***.

I remembered my first Jamb I did in year 2009, I scored 221 and I was in SS2 then. My dad actually wanted me to try perhaps it might be my luck. Everyone congratulated me because they know how tough Jamb is. I forfeited the admission when I didn't get up to the required Post Utme cut off mark for UNILORIN. I know the Joy in you. It's not easy. Congratulations and it is a memory to be remembered for. @dreemport
