Oftenly we hear people talked about fear, especially in financial and crypto trading world, it's always about FOMO-Fear of missing out, greed and fear, but it was never anytime said that's the fear were what we emotionally created for the urge of want something really badly because we don't have it. So, let's go roll down the floor and start laughing, because apparently ROFL kicked off in ICQ many years back then, is due to FOMO. A fear to be missing out chance to use the new abbreviation and probably this kind of cool abs only created during that era.

Just like any other kid, I am one of the FOMO guy, even before I understand what was a computer, I knew this thing is going to cause a chaos around the world. I wanted to be a computer guy and I so wanted to be posted in the IBM computer room which the huge room that stores 100MB worth of storage tapes. This is what we called, NO FEAR. We got ourself a very expensive 8088 16MHz computer and we're so happy to be able to play with Price of Persia.

You see, that's where I got my first training of fear. At first, I played the game pretty slowly, carefully. The first time I managed to complete the game, it took me almost the entire 60 minutes just to get it right. It was never a speed run initially, I just wanted to beat my sister as she can complete the game in 56 minutes. So, it turns from FOMO to become NO FEAr. Many of a time, I'll just let the price get chopped so can I reboot. But ofcourse, back then my 8088 does not have a sound card, so the game has no sound effect at all, other than the monotonous fake midi emulator from PC speaker that BEEPS during the interim. I worked really hard after school, headed to the near by computer shop and help them refurbish the computer casing, just to hope they would allow me to keep a slice of sound card.

The ugly truth was before I have enough money to buy a sound card, came the new game called XENON2 MEGABLAST. The graphic is epic, and a space craft shooting game for a kid from that era, it's like one of the century top dog! The game does compatible with my "old" 8088, which few years before it still worth like 10000 bucks, but I really doesn't like the monochrom low level of color tone. I decide, it's not soundcard that I want. I wanted a new computer system, a color monitor, and computer that actually has a 20MB hard drive, so I can dump all my games into them and I will not have to trouble finding diskette to feed into the drive and wait horribly for the loading. I know how convenient is it booting from a hard drive, and putting in command like CLS DIR CD\XENON2 and finally get to play that game on my friends latest 80286 system! Once again, I turned my FOMO to become a fearless dream chaser. I want something even better than the 80286, which is a 80386 that costs me 3600 bucks.

Finally, me and my bro have enough money to pump up for a 386 machine, that is capable of 33MHz over drive! I have my sound card! And the hard drive was 270MB! So happy it came preloaded with bunch of games, a color monitor, and the VGA display card can do 256colors! OMFG! At this point of time, you just can't imagine how happy a kids gotten and everyday happily loading tons of diskette to the drive, patiently waiting for the file to be transferred into the hard drive, until it's full. You see, due to my FOMO, I found the urge in me, and I wanted what's good for me as a next level computing experience. And when I have the urge, I beat the fear and work towards it. Along the journey, I changed target because the previous target is no longer what I wanted. Who will go back to Super Nintendo when we can have XBOX now?

As soon as I get everything setup, my 80286 friend showed me he has a Video CD, and he's got a VCD player and a TV set in his room. He can watch porn all day all night, anytime he wants. Now I realized, my 386 just isn't going to do everything in one computer. I decided to prove him wrong, again I work very hard to get myself a CD-ROM, purchased a piece of MPEG decoder ISA card, slotted them in, installed the VCD player into my Windows 3.11, and finally I can play porn on my computer, but the resolution was so low that makes all my pretty Jenna Jameson looks like having serious skin rash on her. And Jake Steed looks like he's going in, and suddenly he's coming out, and before I realized what is he trying to do, damn there's glue spilled everywhere. At that point of time, finally I realized it's not about the fear in me, it's actually myself. The greed in me driving me want something that people has, and ultimately cost me lots of tear just to get where people once WAS there.

There's so many tokens and coins out there in the crypto world, just how many coins can we hodl? I don't fear them anymore, say whatever you like, but I really don't feel the NEED of token anymore. The ugly truth of FOMO in crypto market has always been:

FOMO = Fear of missing out. It's a pump! I think I should go in, and ended up bought the top! Bravo.
Fear to cut loss = I have full trust in BITCONNECT, they will make a come back(do they?)
Fear to take profit = So far I haven't came across many people who really take their profit when BTC was 19k. Even the few that I know they did close some trades on 19k, but apparently they HODL more than what they closed.

You see, fear is there because we did not set a paremeter. We do not know what we really want. BTC for example, if we fixed a rule, every 50% gain we must close half the position, and let the rest ride along the trend, again when it gain another 50%, we close half the position. How do you think crypto tokens always talkign about halving their circulation? That's because they need to continue protect the crypto value. 

Last but not least, the fear of buying in. Which again, can be easily overcome. Set a rules and parameter that matches above all 3 fears. If there's any suspicious in the whole deal, don't buy in. You don't wanna regret one day coming back and say, I should have listen to my gut feeling. I felt it was wrong, but somehow I bought it, I'm an idiot. If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is. Nodoby give you free BTC. I'm not asking you to fear, I'm asking you to face you fear, with your greed. Why do you fear? Was it because of your greed? Why do you greed, was it because you are fear? FOMO remember?
