The Goldhill club is situated at the Menjalara area, right opposite of Maluri hill.  And, when we're talking about club, we know those will be the kind of "private club" that is exclusive for some high rollers. As for what they're doing in the club, that I will leave that to your imagination.  What does a club has to do with my today's introducing one of the best restaurant I would agree? That's right, it's the Emperor Garden, which is NOT located in the garden, but on the first floor. Let's not waste time further, and get on with introducing some of the best dishes I had in one single evening.

Now you'll be wondering, what does best restaurant has to do with fried rice. Lemme tell you, just because fried rice is a simple dish, which makes it hard to make an outstanding fried rice! In Emperor Garden, the rice is fried to an extend of not too dry but remain some moisture on each piece of rice. You probably didn't see shrimp, nor crab meat, trust me they're there. The smell of the rice is so fragrant before we put our spoon towards it to scope it already can smell the aroma goes around our dinning room. How nice is nice? If your seven years old kid which usually need 3 hours to finishes her rice, but this time she asked for a refill in less than 5 minutes, and refilled twice in 15 minutes. LOL

They call this dish expansive flower fin. Well, in a Chinese restaurant, anytime if you hear the word FIN, it has to be shark fin. I don't know how or why does Chinese people so obsessed with shark fin. I don't wanna go down further on the tree hugger issues on the shark fin, let's get back to the dish. This is one of the ultimate noodle, where the noodle is actually made out of expansive shark fins. The eggs are properly mixed, there's enough vegetable. I'm pretty sure the sauce they use to fried this dish is at the high grade sauce. But the "noodle", nah. Perhaps I already have the poor shark perception, I just don't feel comfortable eating bones. Moreover, in order to make the bone soft, it has to be cure with  vinegar, soaking in overtime to degrade the texture(and at the same time removing the useful calcium of the bone).

Simmer pork belly with fried bun(Mantou). The extremely fat piece of pork is well prepared, and probably being cooked for hours until the tissue has soften. The best part of all, its the broth. This dish need special order and prebook due to the fact that it's hard to prepare and it takes time to cook the pork until it's soften.

Tofu fish, which is a specialized recipe from the Northern Selangor of Kuala Kubur Baru. I don't know how significant this is, people said this is the old taste original recipe, to me it's just a fried fish, being soak in a very well prepared broth. Once again, why would you make it soften by soaking it into a broth?  Until I grow so old, only I get to understand the reason of why frying it in the first place. The process of frying fish will evaporate the sea water from the fish, and allowing the dried cured fish to absorb the broth and makes it very tasty.

We also order fish cake for the kids, unfortunately there's just way too many good food on the table and this got skipped. I had to finish the last piece since nobody wanted it. Was it that bad? Not really, I believe my taste bud was probably spoiled.

Stir fried cucumber with dried shrimp. You think this is easy? Don't you ever try. Cucumber is very moisture and wet, if you fry it, it will lose it's moiture and turn hard. And therefore, the heat of the pan, and the timing of frying is very important.#

Came the dessert, which pieces of potatoes being wrapped by rice noodle, and went on deep fried. Crunchy from the outside, and the potatoe melt in your mouth.

And finally a bowl of sweet funges soup to wash everything down.  I'm telling you, for the food that we eat, it's not expansive, but definitely it's not cheap. It's very reasonable considering some of the dishes are really expansive.

And they have Karaoke system in their VIP room, but I'm just being too busy eating and snapping photograph, so I missed it.
