Yea? I don't see anything wrong with it, if others do they are welcome to flag me, I will not take it personally or retaliate. When I comment I like to vote it up to get it to the top of the section. I always upvote my comment if it is a head comment

But, many people consider it rude. Will your own friends who support the bot to flag personal upvoting also flag you? I think not.

Not everybody likes infighting - believe it or not, most people see SteemIt as a place to realax (I won't bring money into this argument). As you know, flagging can cause loss of reputation and leave a bad taste in the mouth, as they say. Your tactics are nothing short of bullying, and you are doing damage to SteemIt by doing so.

If anything, this competition was teaching people to actually leave a half decent comment - those that did not didn't win and were given a reason in a reply by me. The percentage of decent comments on these post is a lot better than many of the other posts on SteemIt - some ONLY get spam comments!

I do have some more to say about the bullying aspect, but I will leave that for a separate post.

You still haven't explained the comment, "edit: lol I just noticed you say".
Many  people are saying  that there is now a major problem of people no longer voting  up comments as much because people only vote for their friends so that there is no money 'lost'. So, why wouldn't I state that I actually do? Surely this is what SteemIt needs!

Do you not find it a bit sycophantic.  It's like you're going into a room full of people and saying first person to say something nice to me gets money.
