 (Image: pixabay.com) What would be the attribute of your ideal cryptocoin? - fast transaction times? - cheap transaction fees? - a GUI wallet and a web wallet as a priority to start with? - solidity behind the coin - some form of guarantee that the coin will continue? - names or emails for addresses? Wouldn't it be great if you could store your coins in an email address as a standard? Maybe a second address could be linked, just in case or for security. In fact several email addresses could then be used as multisig. I know solutions already exists using email, but they are not integrated or seamless. What about an email server specifically linked to a blockchain. The email addresses would be part of the blockchain (the emails themselves would not because there would be an actual email server). Transactions would 'belong' to the email address. An easy solution that everyone could use.

I see a future where everyone holds a variety of coins. Moneros and Z cash are good for anonymity. Bitcoin and litecoin still have the network advantages, and litecoin is nice right now because they are still fast transactions. The community and the devs also make a difference. All in all, its hard to pick because there are so many good ones out there right now.
