Era domingo por la noche, estaba conversando con mi padre sobre realizar un viaje, pero esta vez seria por tren, nunca he tenido la oportunidad de montarme en uno, era mi sueño. Tenía que despertarme muy temprano el día siguiente, para irme con mi padre a realizar ese viaje, a él le encantaba viajar por tren, conocer todas esas nuevas rutas y lo mejor disfrutar de esa hermosa vista del paisaje. Tenía muchas ganas de vivir esa experiencia, pero a la vez estaba muy asustado.

 

Esa noche no dormí de tan solo pensar e imaginarme como sería ese viaje, en lo que amaneció corrí a preparar mis bolsos, ya estábamos retrasados por unos minutos, aun así nos calmamos y nos dimos nuestro tiempo. Corríamos de un lado a otro por todo la casa, ya que mi papá no recordaba donde había colocado los pasajes, un hombre muy organizado y ordenado, pero esta vez no sé qué le pasó.

Llegamos a la estación del tren era muy grande, no podía creer la cantidad de personas que había en ese lugar, en voz baja le comente a mi padre ¿Tengo mucho miedo?, ¿Nos regresamos a casa?, ¿Hacia dónde nos llevara ese tren?, y miles de preguntas que le hice en cuestión de segundo. Seguía y repetía todos los movimientos que hacía mi padre, siempre con la mirada al frente pendiente de no tropezar y extraviar mi mochila. Pase varios minutos sentado esperando mientras que a mi padre le decían que tren nos tocaría, veía pasar mucha gente de un lado a otro a la espera de su tren.

 

Llego el momento de montarnos en nuestro tren muy grande y moderno, me puse muy nervioso y asustado, ya que no sabía que podría pasar durante el viaje, mi papá nunca me había contado como era la sensación de viajar por esas vías tan rápidas. Me sentí muy cómodo y seguro después que el tren había arranco, me sentía muy feliz.

Miraba cada momento mi reloj y sentía que los minutos no avanzaban, para mí fue una eternidad viajar en tren. Estaba comenzado hacer mucho frío y no había llevado mi chaqueta, mi padre me abrazo, solamente teníamos que esperar a llegar. Cuando el tren se paró en una estación pude respirar con tranquilidad, sentí un alivio dentro de mí, veía que las personas se bajaban, pero no estaba muy seguro de que si mi padre lo había hecho.

 

Note que todos los pasajeros comenzaron a montarse en sus respectivos trenes nuevamente y yo no encontraba a mi papá de inmediato decidí llamarlo, estaba asustado, ya que no lo veía cerca de mí, sin embargo, escuche su teléfono repicar en el bolso, estaba comenzado entrar en desesperación, angustia, las lágrimas a punto de salir, pero no podía hacerlo delante de tanta gente. Arranco nuevamente el tren, lo único que hice fue bajar mi mirada y no pude aguantar las ganas y comencé a llorar.

Estaba muy nervioso, corría de un lado a otro preguntando si habían visto a un hombre alto, pelo canoso que estaba al lado mío, nadie me decía nada, muchos dijeron que me había montado solo. Creo que me estaban agarrando para loco, no me creían, aun así no paraba de buscarlo. Decidí caminar hacia la otra parte del tren para buscarlo, esta vez no podía dejar que el miedo y las palabras de los demás me dominarán. Iba de puesto en puesto enseñándole las fotos, sentía que estaba perdido en ese enorme tren.

 

Los pasillos del tren parecían infinitos, hasta que por fin me topé con un hombre que estaba de espalda, no podía créelo, al fin te encontré, pensé.

Al acercarme me di cuenta de que no era él, mis ánimos se fueron al suelo, sentía un vacío dentro de mí, sin embargo, no podía hacer más nada que regresar a mi puesto, dentro de mí me dije ¿Este será el último tren en el que me monte?. De repente el tren freno de una manera brusca que hizo que me despertara, estaba muy perdido y no sabía por dónde andaba y cuanto faltaba para llegar al lugar que mi papá me había comentado.

 

Luego de entrar en conciencia y despertar me di cuenta de que era un sueño lo que me había sucedido, le explique a mi padre muy detalladamente ese sueño, lo único que hizo fue reírse y me dijo que jamás me iba a abandonar y muchos menos en un tren tan grande.

Mi padre me dijo que desde el primer momento que me monte en el tren y me senté en mi puesto que quedaba hacia la ventana, quede dormido, no se explica por qué. Lo bueno fue que llegamos a nuestro destino final y quizá este sea el último tren en el que me monte.</div>

It was Sunday night, I was talking with my father about taking a trip, but this time it would be by train, I have never had the opportunity to ride one, it was my dream. I had to wake up very early the next day, to go with my father to make that trip, he loved to travel by train, to know all those new routes and the best to enjoy that beautiful view of the landscape. I really wanted to live that experience, but at the same time I was very scared.

That night I did not sleep just thinking and imagining how that trip would be, as soon as the sun woke up I ran to prepare my bags, we were already delayed for a few minutes, even so we calmed down and gave us our time. We ran from one side to the other all over the house, since my dad did not remember where he had put the tickets, a very organized and tidy man, but this time I do not know what happened to him.

We arrived at the train station, it was very big, I could not believe the amount of people that were in that place, in a low voice I commented to my father: "Am I really scared, are we going back home, where will that train take us to, and thousands of questions that I asked him in a matter of seconds. I followed and repeated all the movements that my father made, always with my eyes straight ahead, watching out not to trip and lose my backpack. I spent several minutes sitting and waiting while my father was being told which train we would get, I saw many people passing from one side to the other waiting for their train.

It was time to get on our very big and modern train, I was very nervous and scared, because I did not know what could happen during the trip, my dad had never told me how was the feeling of traveling on those fast tracks. I felt very comfortable and safe after the train had started, I felt very happy.

I looked at my watch every moment and I felt that the minutes did not advance, for me it was an eternity to travel by train. It was starting to get very cold and I had not taken my jacket, my father hugged me, we only had to wait to arrive. When the train stopped at a station I could breathe calmly, I felt a relief inside me, I saw that people were getting off, but I was not sure if my father had done it.

I noticed that all the passengers started to get on their respective trains again and I could not find my dad, I immediately decided to call him, I was scared, since I did not see him near me, however, I heard his phone ringing in my bag, I was beginning to enter despair, anguish, tears were about to come out, but I could not do it in front of so many people. The train started again, the only thing I did was to lower my gaze and I could not hold the urge and I started to cry

I was very nervous, I was running from one side to the other asking if they had seen a tall, gray-haired man who was next to me, nobody told me anything, many said that I had ridden alone. I think they were trying to make me crazy, they didn't believe me, even so I kept looking for him. I decided to walk to the other side of the train to look for him, this time I could not let fear and the words of others dominate me. I went from stall to stall showing him the pictures, I felt I was lost in that huge train.

The corridors of the train seemed endless, until I finally ran into a man who was on his back, I couldn't believe it, I finally found you, I thought.

As I got closer I realized that it was not him, my spirits went to the ground, I felt an emptiness inside me, however, I could not do anything but go back to my post, inside me I said to myself: "Is this going to be the last train I ride? Suddenly the train stopped abruptly, which made me wake up, I was very lost and did not know where I was and how far it was to get to the place my dad had told me about.

After coming to consciousness and waking up I realized that it was a dream what had happened to me, I explained to my father in detail that dream, the only thing he did was to laugh and told me that he would never leave me and much less in such a big train.

My father told me that from the first moment I got on the train and sat in my seat facing the window, I fell asleep, he can't explain why. The good thing was that we arrived at our final destination and maybe this is the last train I will ride.
