This week in the game @splinterlands they’ve added something so simple yet with great potential and motivation for all of us players.
This small update is for the Frontier mode, and it’s based on the fact that now, in addition to cards, we can also obtain a kind of coin (entry) that lets us participate in an airdrop (raffle), where if we’re lucky very lucky we might get some very valuable cards.
So in this post I’ll show you how it works and real results of what you can get. That said, let’s begin:
### **HOW IT WORKS**
Basically, when we play Frontier mode, every 5 victories we’ll receive a reward in packs and entries; the amount varies depending on the league we’re playing in. At the moment of writing this post, I’m in Bronze 2, where I earn what you see on screen every 5 victories. It’s important to remember that these rewards have a kind of cooldown and will be replenished again after a certain number of hours.
That means I currently have 6 entries (at the moment) for the weekly raffle (I imagine everything resets each week).
You can also obtain these entries in chests when you rank up, and, well, the more you have, the more chances you have of getting one of these cards.
It’s important to note that the cards you could get are from this Frontier set, but the cool thing is that you might get Gold, Black, or Black Arcane versions.
According to this image, more than 7,000 cards will be distributed among the winning accounts (hopefully), and if you’re the lucky one to get one, congratulations! (The good thing is these cards can be sold.)

Well, I played for a while and here’s what I got from the chests in this mode. I got this epic card and this archon, which I could sell if I wanted to but honestly, I loved this mode, and if I want to climb the leagues, I’ll need to keep improving my cards little by little.

### **USEFUL TIPS**
I suggest you focus on just 2 classes so you can climb with the cards you win (if a card you get doesn’t work for your 2 chosen classes, sell it and look for one that does). Another thing to keep in mind is when you open chests, make sure you have both types of potions to increase your chances of getting something good (it doesn’t always work, but the important thing is to try).
Don’t worry about energy since it’s different from the other leagues, but if you want to buy these potions you’ll need to play in other modes to earn Glint and get them from the shop.
Overall, I’ve enjoyed this new implementation for this mode, since if we’re lucky enough to get one of these special cards, it will be useful for lands or for playing in the Modern league. I hope it’s a transparent raffle and that any player has the possibility to get at least 1 card, and not have all of them go to the whales (hopefully not).

Esta semana en el juego @splinterlands han agregado algo tan simple pero con un gran potencial y motivación para todos nosotros los jugadores.
Esta pequeña **update** es para el modo **Frontier** y se basa en que ahora ademas de las cartas podremos obtener esta especie de coin (entrada ) con el que podremos participar en una especie de **airdrop** ( sorteo ) donde si tenemos suerte, mucha suerte podremos obtener unas cartas muy valiosas.
Así que este post te mostrare como funciona y con resultados reales de lo que puedes obtener, dicho esto comencemos:
**COMO FUNCIONA**
Básicamente cuando jugamos el modo frontier cada 5 victorias nos darán una recompensa en sobres y entradas; la cantidad varia depende de la liga en que estemos jugando. Yo al momento de este post estoy en Bronce 2 donde gano lo que vez en pantalla cada 5 victorias, es importante recordar que dichas recompensas tienen una especie de coldown y se rellenaran de nuevo cuando pasen x horas. Es decir que tengo 6 entradas ( en el momento ) para el sorteo semanal ( imagino que cada semana se reinicia todo ).
Pero también podrás obtener estas entradas en los cofres cuando pases de liga y bueno entre mas tengas pues mas posibilidades tendrás de obtener alguna de estas cartas.
Es importante que las cartas que te podrían dar son de este set Frontier, pero lo genial es que te podría tocar **Gold, Black o Black arcane.**
Según esta imagen se entregaran mas de 7000 cartas entre las cuentas ganadoras ( ojala ) y bueno pues si eres el afortunado que te toca alguna pues felicidades ( lo bueno es que estas cartas se pueden vender ).
Aquí te muestro un poco de como van a repartir:
**RESULTADOS REALES**
Bueno estuve jugando un rato y esto es lo que me ha salido en los cofres de este modo. Me salio esta carta épica y este archon que si quisiera los pudiese vender, pero siendo sincero este modo me encanto y si quiero escalar en las ligas pues necesito ir mejorando mis cartas poco a poco.

**CONSEJOS ÚTILES**
Bueno considero que te enfoques solo en 2 clases para que vallas subiendo con las cartas que ganes (si esta carta no te sirve para las 2 clases la vendes y busca una que te sirva ). Otro aspecto a tener en cuenta es cuando abras los cofres asegurarte tener pociones de las 2 para incrementar tus posibilidades de que te salga algo bueno en los cofres ( no siempre sale , pero lo importante es intentar ).
No te preocupes por la energía ya que esta en diferente de las otras ligas, pero si quieres comprar estas pociones debes jugar en otros modos para que te den **Glint** y adquirirlas en la tienda.

En general me ha gustado esta nueva implementación para este modo, ya que si tenemos la suerte de obtener alguna de estas cartas especiales no servirá para las tierras o para jugar en liga de Moderno. Espero que si sea un sorteo transparente y que cualquier jugador tenga la posibilidad de al menos obtener 1 carta y no que todo se lo lleven las ballenas ( ojala que no).
