Me uno a participar en esta iniciativa propuesta por los amigos de @hispapro apoyado por @theycallmedan que nos sugiere compartir un poco de nuestra cocina navideña que realizamos en casa, esta iniciativa tiene la finalidad de dar a conocer esos platos que están presente en la nochebuena y de la misma manera dar un poco de alegría a nuestras vidas a pesar de todo lo que hemos vivido este año. 

> I join in this initiative proposed by friends of @hispapro supported by @theycallmedan that suggests us to share a little of our Christmas cooking that we do at home, this initiative aims to publicize those dishes that are present in the Christmas Eve and in the same way give a little joy to our lives despite everything we have experienced this year.

Estamos en navidad  la época más bonita del año, la de las fiestas, regalos, reuniones, reencuentros y de lo mejor de disfrutar esos platos navideños que tantos nos gusta por su sabor exquisito.  Platos que van de generación en generación  y que aún se mantienen viva a pesar de todas las circunstancias que se ha vivido.

This is Christmas, the most beautiful time of the year, the time for parties, gifts, meetings, reunions and the best way to enjoy those Christmas dishes that so many of us like for their exquisite taste.  Dishes that go from generation to generation and that still remain alive in spite of all the circumstances that have been lived.

_Aquí mencionare los platos navideños  que siempre preparamos en la noche de nochebuena_:

>Here I will mention the Christmas dishes that we always prepare on Christmas Eve


## Las hallacas: 

Este plato es el  más tradicional en estas fiestas de navidad, cada familia la prepara a su manera, va de generación a generación y como siempre decimos por aquí “las mejores hallacas la hace mi mamá“ aunque es un poco largo el procedimiento para elaborarla se disfruta ya que toda la familia se une para hacer tal preparación. Así que esa masa de maíz, con un delicioso  guiso de carnes rojas y blancas aderezado con diferentes aliños y envueltas en hojas de plátano deleita a muchos venezolanos o extranjeros, estén donde estén. 

> The hallacas: 

> This is the most traditional dish for the Christmas holidays, each family prepares it in their own way, it goes from generation to generation and as we always say around here "the best hallacas are made by my mother" although it is a little long the procedure to prepare it is enjoyed since the whole family joins together to make such a preparation. So this corn dough, with a delicious stew of red and white meats seasoned with different dressings and wrapped in banana leaves delights many Venezuelans or foreigners, wherever they are.

## El pan de jamón 
Con solo mencionar el pan de jamón  es invocar la navidad. El pan de jamón  lo compramos en la panadería  y se elabora con harina de trigo, se hace una masa  se le coloca levadura  se le echa un relleno de jamón, tocineta, aceitunas rellenas de pimentón y pasas, luego se enrolla y se mete al horno que agradable. Es percibir  el aroma muy peculiar de este pan.

>Just mentioning ham bread is invoking Christmas. The ham bread is bought at the bakery and is made with wheat flour, a dough is made, yeast is added and a filling of ham, bacon, olives stuffed with paprika and raisins is added,  then it is rolled and put in the oven which. Is very pleasant to perceive the very peculiar aroma of this bread.

## El pernil

Esta comida consiste en una pierna de cerdo condimentada con sal, hierbas condimentos, aceitunas, alcaparras, pasas y vino, luego se lleva al horno hasta obtener su cocción. Cada familias suelen preparar a su manera. Este pernil es unos de los acompañantes de la hallaca, se sirve un pedazo a cada plato. 


>The hind leg

>This meal consists is a pork leg seasoned with salt, herbs, olives, capers, raisins and wine, then it is taken to the oven until it is cooked. Each family usually prepares it in their own way. This leg is one of the accompaniments of the hallaca, a piece is served to each plate.

## Ensalada de gallina
Este es un plato que también acompaña a las hallacas, es muy colorida y se prepara con pechuga de gallina, zanahorias, manzanas, papas y guisantes y se aderezada con sal y mayonesa.

>This is a dish that also accompanies hallacas, it is very colorful and is prepared with chicken breast, carrots, apples, potatoes and peas and is seasoned with salt and mayonnaise.

También es importante mencionar los postres y las bebidas típicas de esta festividades, entre ellos encontramos el dulce de papaya, flan casero, tortas, los turrones, nueces, avellanas  el panettone, ponche crema y vino de manzana.</div>  

>It is also important to mention the desserts and the typical drinks of this celebration, among them we find the sweet of papaya, homemade custard, cakes, the nougat, nuts, hazelnuts, panettone, punch cream and apple wine.
