Es una especie de testimonio sobre quién eres y cómo te presentas. > The self-portrait is considered a tool for learning, a way to expose our bodies, but the self-portrait also exemplifies how we feel and how we are inwardly. A lo largo de los años, los autorretratos del artista en su obra se desarrollaron a partir de una función puramente autoral de una herramienta de autopromoción. Los autores comenzaron a plasmar en sus obras un yo idealizado, donde es posible observar sus más profundos deseos y aspiraciones, ya sean sociales, personales o incluso estéticas. > Over the years, the artist self-portraits in his or her work developed from a purely authorial function of a tool for self-promotion.
