Hello friends of this great community today I present myself in this vegan challenge in its Fourth Edition **Your Vegetable Shopping** brought by our friend @sirenahippie to the community this time the purchase is related to the **Cooking Spices** these condiments that we use to give flavor, aroma and color to our dishes that we prepare daily, the good thing about buying spices is that we do not do it constantly as it has a long time in the kitchen, I particularly like to buy spices in several places in my city Cumana.

Hola amigos de esta gran comunidad hoy me presento en este reto vegano en su Cuarta Edición **Tu Compra de Verduras** traído por nuestra amiga @sirenahippie a la comunidad esta vez la compra está relacionada con las **Especies de Cocina** estos condimentos que utilizamos para dar sabor, aroma y color a nuestros platos que preparamos a diario, lo bueno de comprar especias es que no lo hacemos constantemente ya que tiene un tiempo largo  de duración en la cocina,  a mí particularmente me gusta comprar especias en varios lugares de mi ciudad Cumaná.

I started using some spices a long time ago since I like to cook with them to give a special flavor and aroma to the food, likewise, I used some different ones when I was taking care of my sister who was sick with cancer since in her diet she used many spices for their properties since that day I learned to use some new ones and I started to investigate about their uses and their properties to be able to incorporate them in her food, nowadays I use a great variety of them and here I am going to name them: turmeric, oregano, sage, paprika, nutmeg, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, curry, cinnamon stick and ground cinnamon, ginger, basil, some flavors of these spices I do not like very much and I use them very little, besides I have my favorites.

Empecé a utilizar algunas especias hace mucho tiempo ya que me gusta cocinar con ellas para darle un sabor y aroma especial a la comida, así mismo, utilicé algunas diferentes cuando cuidaba a mi hermana que estaba enferma de cáncer ya que en su dieta utilizaba muchas especias por sus propiedades desde ese día aprendí a utilizar algunas nuevas y empecé a investigar sobre sus usos y sus propiedades para poder incorporarlas en su comida, hoy en día uso una gran variedad de ellas y aquí las voy a nombrar: cúrcuma, orégano, salvia, pimentón, nuez moscada, pimienta negra, tomillo, romero, curry, canela en rama y molida, jengibre, albahaca, algunos sabores de estas especias no me gustan mucho y los uso muy poco, además tengo mis favoritos.

I like to buy this kind of seasoning and I have to tell you that every time I visit a place that sells a lot of these spices especially in the municipal market of my city, I tell the owner of the store that I can not come here because I go crazy buying, she laughs at what I say, I would have liked to show her this place but in that place I do not carry my cell phone because I am too afraid to take it out, there are too many people.

Me gusta comprar este tipo de condimento y tengo que decirle que cada vez que visito un lugar donde vende una gran cantidad de esas especias  sobre todo en el mercado municipal de mi ciudad, le digo a la dueña de la tienda que no puedo venir aquí porque me vuelvo loca comprando, ella se ríe por lo que digo, me hubiera gustado enseñarle este lugar pero en ese sitio no llevo mi celular ya que me  da mucho miedo sacarlo, hay demasiada gente.

Here in my city in all supermarkets, Arab stores and markets sell spices, I usually buy when I run out, so these days I had bought spices in the market I bought ginger, paprika, sesame and also in another supermarket I bought basil and turmeric, I tell you that one of my favorite spices is turmeric because this spice since I started using it 9 years ago hooked me and it was the spice that I used the most in the food I used to prepare for my sister I use it in rice, vegetables, soups, condiments and stews, I feel that this spice gives a good flavor to the food and also contains properties that are excellent for health.

Aquí en mi ciudad en todos los supermercados, tiendas árabes y mercados venden especias, yo suelo comprar cuando se me acaban, así que estos días había comprado especias en el mercado compré jengibre, pimentón, ajonjolí y también en otro supermercado compré albahaca y cúrcuma, Les cuento que una de mis especias favoritas es la cúrcuma porque esta especia desde que empecé a usarla hace 9 años me enganchó y fue la especia que más utilicé en la comida que le preparaba a mi hermana la uso en el arroz, en las verduras, en las sopas, en los condimentos y en los guisos, siento que esta especia le da un buen sabor a la comida y además contiene propiedades que son excelentes para la salud.

### Oregano

For me oregano is one of the spices that I use the most in my meals, it is an herb that can be used both dry and fresh and is one of my favorites, I love the flavor it gives to sauces, and I use it in soups, stews and for seasoning, something important about oregano is that it contains many properties that are beneficial for our body; it is also an antioxidant, antiseptic and very digestive.

### Laurel
