<p>And barring the fact that the system is rigged against Progressives, a vegetarian, atheist who smokes copious amounts of cannabis, could never get elected in this country. The cannabis consumption being the least of the concerns, particularly in this political climate of John Boehner having a come to cannabis moment, a real cannabis candidate? Maybe.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But we all know where the peace candidates end up in Deep State America. Either you get redistricted and ridiculed, or if you still don’t change your tune, the lone wolf appears or your plane runs into a mountain.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Climate change and global warming used to be one of my issues. I became a vegetarian got the hybrid car and had a vasectomy! Done! Best things for the environment, no meat, no kids!</p>
<p>And if you have ever watched any of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmf5CuXEBzP0fJ3QKSEKnLw1XLyusEHKP">Dr. Guy McPherson videos</a> on near-term human extinction, you realize everything that is being proposed from carbon taxes to green energy will not stop the sixth mass extinction, which will include us, much sooner than everyone is willing to admit. His latest video is the topic of this weeks blog on #WhyWeWeed! @DC420LA</p>
<p>Dr. McPherson gives a greater appreciation for the William Shatner lyric in the song “You’ll Have Time,” where he tells us to, “Live life like you're gonna die, because you're going to.” &nbsp;And as it turns out, you won’t have time. In fact, Dr. McPherson doesn't seem to think we have as much time as he originally thought at all, which was short enough.&nbsp;</p>
<p>From Belize, the location of his choice to experience the Edge of Extinction, Dr. McPherson tells us he expects there to be no homosapiens on the planet (yes, the planet) in 2026.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>“How long do we have as homosapiens on planet Earth? I'm sticking to my prediction that there will be no humans on Earth in 2026. That our species will go extinct, &nbsp;the last individual of homosapien will die in 2025”</blockquote>
<p>And that most of us will actually be dead within six to sixteen months once we have an ice free Arctic this summer, and depending on when it happens.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>“For most of us of course we will die before then. We'll die shortly after habitat for our species disappears. When does that happen? &nbsp;I strongly suspect it happens this year.”</blockquote>
<p>The latest scientific evidence on an ice-free Arctic seems to back some of the dire expectations of Dr. McPherson, but to a much less alarming degree.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In a recent <a href="http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/imageo/2018/04/09/small-difference-in-how-much-globe-warms-could-help-save-arctic-sea-ice/#.Ws_GoIjwZqN">Discover </a>article from this month:&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>"The best estimates are that unless we significantly reduce our emissions of planet-warming carbon dioxide, the Arctic Ocean will begin to experience ice-free summers by mid-century, if not sooner."</blockquote>
<p>Dr. Mcpherson argues that the more conservative mainstream climate scientists, and politicians that actually know what’s happening, are not taking into consideration the positive feedback loops that will speed up this entire process. Thus bringing the Arctic free summer much sooner than they hope. How much sooner? Well, if the Arctic is ice free this summer, we will have to take Dr. McPherson's predictions more seriously:</p>
