【跟著TT去旅行】來到南投竹山小鎮

感謝TT，這個週末我們來到了一個之前沒有來過的地方，南投縣竹山鎮，這個似乎是以生產竹子跟竹筍聞名的小鎮，旁邊是生產凍頂烏龍茶的鹿谷，也是到溪頭森林遊樂區的必經之地。

雖然我很早就聽過這個地名，也許也曾經在人生中某幾次旅行經過過這個地方，但印象中應該沒有一次在這裡真的過夜，充分感受一下這個小鎮能夠給予我的感受。

感謝TT，這次我們來了！

我們來到竹山的時候已經是傍晚四五天，在民宿入住稍微休息之後，我們發現竟然，週六晚上，這小鎮很多的店都已經關了，Google地圖上面找到想吃的東西似乎，多半都已經休息，有一些或許還沒關門但是現場不符合我們預期，例如因為天氣實在很熱但是他們沒有空調之類的原因，我們很辛苦的走了十幾二十分鐘，終於才找到間牛肉麵店可以吃... 不過也因為這樣，順便就先透過這次行走認識了一下這個小鎮基本的面貌，吃飽飯就已經到了晚上，所以以下的照片分享從白天到了晚上。

基本上竹山就是一個小鎮，幾條主要道路都非常的狹窄，多半都是單向通行，不過這只是理論上的單向，因為機車他們自己會調整成為雙向通行模式。

這裡像我們這樣的行人也很少見，自然也沒有人行道這種東西。好一點的話或許有一小段騎樓可以讓你走一下，否則你就是要自己走到馬路上注意來往的車輛。

既然是個小鎮，週遭當然有很豐富的農產品，所以你也會看到有些店家直接販賣，當然這一點在第二天的早上出去買早餐的時候，市場裡面更為明顯。

竹山雖然是個有點歷史的地方，但也沒有到什麼歷史名鎮的地步，頂多就是房子老舊一點，比較像是大家腦海中的鄉下老家，而不是什麼曾經有過輝煌過往之地。倒是因為種種原因，可能包括竹子這樣的作物，讓這裡也有一些文青的觀光特色。

夜幕低垂之後，這個小鎮，雖然，有一點寂寞。

但是，似乎，更有味道了一點。

其實這樣蠻好的。這表示這裡其實沒有什麼觀光客，撐不起晚上有那麼多店開門，但我來到這裡也不希望身邊都是觀光的人啊！

後來證明可能是我們走的這個區域，沒有比較熱鬧的地方，其實第二天晚上我們有找到居民聚集的地方，也還算有一點熱鬧，那是後話了...

每個小鎮都會有自己的廟宇跟信仰中心，竹山也不例外。
