## You've Been Listening to the Devil's Music Since 1926

A few months back, I begin a thought experiment called [Logic Coin](https://steemit.com/science/@deanlogic/logic-coin-part-1-the-eeg), [Part 2](https://steemit.com/science/%40deanlogic/logic-coin-part-2-the-beta-wave), [Part 3](https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@deanlogic/logic-coin-part-3-data-collection).  During my research into figuring out how I would do Logic Coin, I started getting interested in frequency therapies or basically, the belief that certain sound frequencies have magical properties.  Some people believe that [528 Hz can heal your DNA](https://attunedvibrations.com/528hz/).

I will admit, that I have listen to a few hours of [Magnetic Mind channel on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPF-YXh4LdqA7sykdjpPrHw).  Magnetic Mind plays the frequency and then overlays it with soothing tones and other music, so the actual frequency tone is a background item and doesn't drive you nuts.

Magnetic Minds has [several 432 hz videos](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPF-YXh4LdqA7sykdjpPrHw/search?query=432), with names like:

But, has no 440 Hz videos. 

To show that there is a difference between 440 Hz and 432 Hz, there is a video that uses a tonoscope to "display" each frequency which is called cymatics.

You will notice in this video, the 432 Hz images are clearer and more defined than the 440 Hz images.

### What is important about 440 Hz? 
> A440 or A4 (also known as the Stuttgart pitch), which has a frequency of 440 Hz, is the musical note of A above middle C and serves as a general tuning standard for musical pitch.

In the early 1900's, there was a movement to make the 440 Hz the standard for tuning instruments. Before then, there was no standard and people used all sorts of frequencies as the method of tuning.  It was unofficially adopted by the American music industry in 1926 and became the American Standard in 1936.  In 1955, ISO 16 was created and the 440 Hz became the official International Standard for tuning. 

There are theories that 440 Hz was picked to keep people off balance as a way for **Joseph Goebbels** to brainwash people. There is no proof one way or another that Goebbels had any influence, because this was 1930's Europe and who knows who was influencing who. *cough* watch The Crown *cough*.  

The base assumption is that 440 Hz was decided in a conference **in London** as a compromise between all the other standards.  Well, that doesn't hush theories about why 440 Hz was selected, since it wasn't a standard used by anyone at the time.  Even though they say 440 Hz is the "Concert Pitch", the tuning frequency for concerts at the time was 439 Hz.  There are some who say that radio stations couldn't broadcast 440 Hz tuned music, which seems like a bunch of nonsense. 

### What is important about 432 Hz
432 Hz is also called the Scientific pitch or Verdi's 'A' for Giuseppe Verdi, an opera composer.  It is also known as philosophical pitch, Sauveur pitch or Verdi tuning. 

432 Hz is also an important number if you believe that 3,6, and 9 are the keys to unlocking the universe.

If you add the numbers together, using **Vortex Based Mathematics**, 4+3+2, you get 9.  And 9 is the magical number of the universe. Vortex Based Mathematics is a whole other big ball of wax, that I will probably get into later.

Basically, we have philosophers and scientists competing against musicians on what is the proper tuning method.

Does it make a difference?

Personally, while it sounds as if the 432 Hz might be off tune when the songs start, it does make the songs more uplifting. So, there might be something to this.
