Hard Disk Sentinel(HDD Sentinel) is a PC software to monitor and analysis your hard disk condition.

You only need to install this software on your PC and as long as this software running on your PC, it will continuously monitor your hard disks condition.

When there's something wrong with your hard disk, this software can help you to identify the problems.

From my personal experience, if your hard disks temperature above 42'C most of the time, your hard disks will start having problems like bad sectors. So try to find a better cooling for your hard disk to keep it healthy. Some conditions like PC isn't shutdown properly(power outage) can become a source of bad sectors for your hard disk too.
