After I saw the first episode of this new AHStories season I was excited because the franchise seemed to have recovered their quality from their best years, and I am happy to say that this second episode was as good as the previous one. <br><br>


It is difficult for me to explain how disappointed I was last year when I saw the first season of this spin-off. It was absurdly bad in ways that almost made me lose faith in the franchise's creators. But now, I am a bit impressive seeing how they turn around and are now providing what many horror fans have been expecting from them. <br><br>


Episode 2 is about a young couple who for security reasons decided to purchase one of these smart devices that go in the front door of houses, and through the use of an app, it allows the owner to see who is standing in front of the house and even talking with them. The story uses these devices to introduce a new way of paranormal communication, and even though the episode only lasts around 40 minutes, the story felt very well-written and it even has a nice surprise towards the end that was key for later events. <br><br>


I was very happy with this episode, and I really think many people will think the same. Hopefully, the franchise will continue providing this level of quality which is what all of its fans really want.

Es difícil para mí explicar lo decepcionado que estaba el año pasado cuando vi la primera temporada de este spin-off. Fue absurdamente mala en formas que casi me hicieron perder la fe en los creadores de la franquicia. Pero ahora, estoy un poco impresionante al ver cómo le han dado la vuelta y ahora están proporcionando lo que muchos fanáticos del terror han estado esperando de ellos. <br><br>


El episodio 2 trata sobre una joven pareja que por razones de seguridad decidió comprar uno de estos dispositivos inteligentes que van en la puerta principal de las casas, y a través del uso de una aplicación, permite al propietario ver quién está parado frente a la casa e incluso hablar con ellos. La historia utiliza estos dispositivos para introducir una nueva forma de comunicación paranormal, y aunque el episodio solo dura alrededor de 40 minutos, la historia se sintió muy bien escrita e incluso tiene una disfrutable sorpresa hacia el final que fue clave para los eventos posteriores. <br><br>


Estoy muy contento con este episodio, y realmente creo que mucha gente pensará lo mismo. Con suerte, la franquicia continuará brindando este nivel de calidad, que es lo que todos sus fanáticos realmente quieren.

He oido hablar a personas acerca de esta serie pero jamas la he visto, creo que despues de crecer le perdi interes a las peliculas o series de terror, sin embargo me animare a verla, tanto esta como el telefono negro del que mucho hablan.

Bueno yo he sido siempre un gran amante del terror, y en mi caso lo que ha sucedido es que cada vez es más difícil conseguir algo que me asuste de verdad. En este género, lo mejor que he visto en años es la serie llamada The Haunting of Hill House, sus primeros episodios fueron una obra maestra para mi. Si no la has visto y quieres ver terror del bueno, mi recomendación sería esa serie por encima de cualquier otra producción. AHS está muy bien, pero en realidad no asusta mucho y nunca lo ha hecho.

Yeah mate, many episodes of season 1 were crappy, in fact I think only 1 episode was actually worth watching but this new season it has improved a lot and I really hope it can continue like this.

esta temporada del spin off no he comenzado a verla, pero  me has animado   porque dices que los dos primeros episodios son buenos. esta gente debía  era aplicar el formato en la misma  serie madre, creo que eso le   hubiese dado   frescura al producto original. O sea, en ves de seguir la serie madre con una historia por temporada,  hubiesen sacado una temporada  estilo antología, como  este spin off. ir al ternando las temporadas de esa forma.   O hacer como he  visto en  series  inglesas,  que en una temporada abarcan dos  historias  distintas  en un numero determinado de capítulos. Pero bueno,  quieren exprimir la naranja hasta cuando ya solo queda la concha. La serie original  la deje de ver hace tiempo. Voy a estar pendiente con esta segunda temporada del spin off.

Sí están exprimiendo la franquicia a más no poder. Entre el spin-off y la serie original, deben estar creando 9 historias diferentes por año, 1 larga en la original y 8 cortas en el spinoff, y quizás ese ritmo creativo no sea sostenible. Yo creo que por eso la temporada anterior fue tan mala, sencillamente la creatividad no les daba para producir tantas cosas diferentes y que todo fuese bueno. 

Estos 2 episodios han estado bastante buenos JC, yo creo que sí te van a gustar. Lo ideal sería que los siguientes episodios mantengan la calidad en ese nivel pero lo veo improbable. Ya pronto voy a ver el episodio 3 a ver que tal está, pero por ahora me siento seguro recomendado estos 2 primeros 😅

Si te decides verla te recomiendo que no veas la temporada 1 porque no estuvo muy buena y como es una antología por episodios no es necesario ver todos los capítulos ni tampoco verlos en orden. Muchas gracias por la visita bro!
