It has been several months since the last time I saw Psycho-Pass and I was getting kind of thirsty for more of its content. I binge-watched all of Psycho-Pass except the First Inspector back when I began to watch this series and eventually I wanted to watch a different kind of anime, so I put this anime aside to focus on others such as Steins;Gate and Serial Experiments Lain. Now that I have finished watching those some time ago, I figured it was a good time to get back to Psycho-Pass. <br><br>

Psycho-Pass takes place in a futuristic Japan, where thanks to technological innovations, the police has a tool that can instantly analyze any person and determine how prone is that person to commit a crime. Those that are determined to possess violent tendencies can be treated as criminals even if they are completely innocent.

Han pasado varios meses desde la última vez que vi Psycho-Pass y me estaba deseando ver más de su contenido. Vi todo Psycho-Pass, excepto First Inspector, cuando comencé a ver esta serie y finalmente quise ver un tipo diferente de anime, así que dejé este anime a un lado para enfocarme en otros como Steins; Gate y Serial Experiments Lain. Ahora que terminé de verlos, pensé que era un buen momento para volver a Psycho-Pass. <br><br>

Psycho-Pass tiene lugar en un Japón futurista, donde gracias a las innovaciones tecnológicas, la policía cuenta con una herramienta que puede analizar instantáneamente a cualquier persona y determinar qué tan propensa es esa persona a cometer un delito. Aquellos que tienen tendencias violentas pueden ser tratados como criminales incluso si son completamente inocentes.

First Inspector is divided into 3 different parts, each of them lasting around 45 minutes. The story begins with a massive attack using very advanced technology against an important and huge government building causing major chaos and massive deaths. The security forces are taken by surprise because they weren't expecting such a sophisticated attack and are forced to deal with extremely challenging circumstances. <br><br>

As is usually the case with Psycho-Pass, the villain is a very intelligent person who always seems to be one step ahead of those trying to stop him, however, the good guys will slowly catch up to him as the story advances, not without suffering important losses first of course. We will only learn about his real goal in the third part of this story. At the beginning, he just appears as a bloodthirsty terrorist.

First Inspector se divide en 3 partes diferentes, cada una de las cuales dura alrededor de 45 minutos. La historia comienza con un ataque masivo utilizando tecnología muy avanzada contra un edificio gubernamental importante y enorme que causa un gran caos y muertes masivas. Las fuerzas de seguridad están sorprendidas porque no esperaban un ataque tan sofisticado y se ven obligadas a lidiar con circunstancias extremadamente desafiantes. <br><br>

Como suele ser el caso de Psycho-Pass, el villano es una persona muy inteligente que siempre parece estar un paso por delante de quienes intentan detenerlo, sin embargo, los buenos lo alcanzarán lentamente a medida que avanza la historia, no sin antes sufrir pérdidas importantes primero, por supuesto. Solo aprenderemos sobre su objetivo real en la tercera parte de esta historia. Al principio, simplemente aparece como un terrorista sediento de sangre.

We will see cool action scenes involving robots and other types of futuristic technology, but when it comes to the plot I have grown tired of Psycho-Pass. There are always people that hate the Sibyl system and want to take extreme measures to change something about it, and this time is not the exception. After watching so many stories taking place in this world, the novelty of this futuristic Japan begins to disappear and sadly, First Inspector wasn't entertaining enough for me. The visuals were better than ever though, and there is a clear difference for the better between the first season of Psycho Pass and its latests productions.  <br><br>

I still recommend watching Psycho Pass but maybe not all of its content. The series has clearly been overmilked by a lot, and it is harder and harder for the creators to come up with new interesting ideas to explore in this world. People who enjoy scifi should at least watch season 1 and season 2. I don't think I will continue watching more Psycho Pass in the future, but I can say with confidence that it provided with a lot of entertainment at the beginning. <br><br>

Have in mind the main characters in Psycho Pass change with time, this isn't an anthology per se, but the events in the first seasons are almost completely unrelated with the events in the latest productions. And the main characters also change, although some of them appear again as secondary characters from time to time. All in all, I recommend watching Psycho Pass, but not all of its content.

Veremos escenas de acción geniales que involucran robots y otros tipos de tecnología futurista, pero cuando se trata de la trama, siento me he cansado de Psycho-Pass. Siempre hay personas que odian el sistema Sibyl y quieren tomar medidas extremas para cambiar algo al respecto, y esta vez no es la excepción. Después de ver tantas historias que tienen lugar en este mundo, la novedad de este Japón futurista comienza a desaparecer y, lamentablemente, First Inspector no me entretuvo lo suficiente. Sin embargo, las imágenes fueron mejores que nunca, y hay una clara diferencia para mejor entre la primera temporada de Psycho Pass y sus últimas producciones. <br><br>

Todavía recomiendo ver Psycho Pass, pero tal vez no todo su contenido. Claramente, la serie ha sido sobreexplotada, y cada vez es más difícil para los creadores encontrar nuevas ideas interesantes para explorar en este mundo. Las personas que disfrutan de la ciencia ficción deberían ver al menos la temporada 1 y la temporada 2. No creo que siga viendo más Psycho Pass en el futuro, pero puedo decir con confianza que proporcionó mucho entretenimiento al principio.  <br><br>


Tenga en cuenta que los personajes principales de Psycho Pass cambian con el tiempo, esto no es una antología per se, pero los eventos de las primeras temporadas no tienen casi ninguna relación con los eventos de las últimas producciones. Y los personajes principales también cambian, aunque algunos de ellos vuelven a aparecer como personajes secundarios de vez en cuando. Con todo, recomiendo ver Psycho Pass, pero no todo su contenido.
