iDeal is normally used to pay on the internet. But now they introduce the option to generate a QR-code, that people can scan with the iDeal-app on their smartphone. They aim to let people pay with iDeal in their day to day life. Not just for internet payments.

The funny thing is, it is almost identical to paying with Bitcoin. Maybe this will make paying with Bitcoin feel less strange?
