I created this photomontage, just as the mobile phone industry was beginning to boom... and long before the advent of the "smart" phone. The image is about alienation... about how we are becoming part-machine... and given that nowadays people can rarely be parted from their "smart" phones, that they even walk down the street, staring at them... and worse... drive whilst using them (endangering themselves and others)... this image seems horribly prescient.
