Got to bed a little after ten last night, well, actually passed out without even realizing it. Seems like, pretty sure, I made it through the whole night in bed but I was up shortly after five and a good half an hour short of my eight hours. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have any reserves in the tank, and yet again I dragged and crashed out in the afternoon. 😫

Woke up debating whether or not I'd completed my steps for yesterday and I thought I had, BUT no , I fell asleep and broke the streak. It was disappointing, but didn't smack me as hard as it usually does.

Got a fairly early start on the morning routine and did all the usual morning stuff I do every day (now including checking on my NEFTY income) and got a fire lit under my butt and swapped out some DEC to boost my stake over there.

Otherwise, just the normal curation, check Solairitas, shift tokens, check emails, Discord pings, send my Wombat into the dungeon and check WAX stuff, and then checked the crypto markets.

Wow! Been a little while since we had a green day across the board there in the crypto markets! Not looking at much, though, a fraction of a percent to about two, so I suppose that counts as trading sideways.

Sad to say that HIVE has gone *up* to thirty-nine cents, but that's better than down in any event. Bitcoin is still back below twenty-eight thousand, but there's more and more talk of banking sector instability, more and more similarities drawn to 2008, precisely the time for BTC to shine (that's exactly what it was made for) and I'm expecting that more normies are waking up to the fiat system = good for adoption = good for price trend; just may take a little more time to play out (my horizon is a little longer than June of this year, but I wouldn't mind a nice pop even if not to a million). 🤑

As is customary, I spent the rest of my morning working on my post and crafted it to exactly fifteen hundred words.  I was done a bit early but got distracted by Drop Dead and ended up posting an hour late. 😠

Speaking of Drop Dead, I barely put up a fight...usually I try to set at least a weak goal for the day, today I hardly even did that. Whether it's a good or bad thing is a matter of perspective, but it does seem like the headset functions alright playing while plugged in...totally defeats the whole wireless thing, but if it keeps me from getting booted out of games because the battery died, that's good (although now I can waste essentially endless hours, which is bad 😜).

Did a couple co-op runs (one with a screaming little twerp who sucked and ended up just quitting like the little punk he was) and a couple solo and then quit to grab some lunch.

Like clockwork, though, after lunch I hit the wall hard, laid down, and for like the third or fourth time this week crashed out. 😡 Was only out for about an hour or so, but I was slow getting up and felt pretty groggy.

I woke up thinking about arranging a better solution for the Quest power cable.  As it stood, I had to crawl under the side-table every time and switch back and forth between the five volt and twelve volt chargers; not ideal. 

The Dollar General down the street has some cables, and it looked like the perfect excuse to snag an extra Red Bull to try and get through the rest of the day, so I ran down there to see.

All of the USB-C to USB-C cables were sold out from what I could see and all they had was USB to lightening, USB to micro-USB, and USB to USB-C. I realized, though, that I didn't necessarily have to use the Quest adapter, could just as well use one of the extra five volt USB ones from our iPhones and I grabbed a ten foot for overkill.

I got the old six foot cable back in the twelve volt charger permanently for the phone and went and got the extension chord that I'd removed from there last time I rearranged and got the Quest plugged into that.

This way is much better, don't have to climb under the table any more and I have quite a bit more leeway as far as cable distance (extension chord plus ten feet). 👍 I still need to figure out a better way to put everything away, right now it's all sitting on the bedside table with the chords flailing everywhere, and a better way to manage it while playing (now it doesn't pull, which is fantastic, but I did still get hung up in it from time to time).

Anyway, *had* to test out the new setup, right? 😜 This time, though I got paired up with a noob, he was a good player and we did quite well.  Still haven't made it to the end yet, though, we got two of the three fuel canisters but we got overwhelmed once the big dudes started spawning.

Wenche as working until fairly late today, so after I'd mostly satisfied my zombie head-popping urge I got some Fruity Pebbles for dinner...Fruity Pebbles and video games? I think that's called arrested development or something. 😂

It had been nagging at me the last couple days to write down what I've been working on with the Mythix forge and this evening I finally sat down, focused, and got the broad strokes done. There's still a few question marks floating around on the page, but so far I'm happy with the idea. 💡🤩

Wenche got home around about that time and she put on another Riddick, but I worked some more on writing and then paced some laps working on my step goal. I also did some marching in place, but even then I did have to do some shaking at the end. 🤨

After the movie finished, we put on some Married with Children and I watched an episode or two until succumbing to another late bedtime.

<u>Splinterlands:</u>
Well, I guess it *was* too much to ask for my Splinterlands rental income to continue on its upward trajectory, and it fell back down by twenty cents to a dollar seventy for today. 😥

Kinda' not sure if I'm being stupid or what, but I still wasn't satisfied with the rate of growth of my WAX balance coming from staking NEFTY, so in typical government fashion I thought "It's not working, let's do more." 🤪

I pulled out the DEC I had saved, swapped it to WAX, staked a little bit to boost my RAM so that it doesn't become a problem as my NFT holdings grow, and swapped the rest over to NEFTY and staked it.

Of course, I'd thought to do it yesterday, but I dragged my feet and missed a dip down to .09...still, fairly easy spot to remember that I bought at .1 WAX if (or when) it comes time to exit. 👍

Otherwise, I still have a bit of prepay balance left, so I just staked up all my SPS interest for the day.

We did get another crisis in dShitty today, but it only affected my popularity and not my income, so I guess that's alright. Got forty-two SIM, better than zero, and my HIVE income rose to .039, but I'm getting to the end of that growth now.

The new server for sure is running a lot faster now, so that's cool, but I'm still just repeatedly clicking buttons all day back and forth between missions and lessons without any end goal in sight.

I had one percent Ego properly and ran a lesson to get it back down, but that was immediately erased by drunk fans. 🤬

Keep on staking, keep on watching that value decline. 🤬 I think I might be flipping from hodl mode to dump it all and get what you can while you can mode...not exactly sure what my major malfunction is here, though, token prices go up and down...but this doesn't look like volatility or a buying opportunity to me, looks like a trend (and I see no reason for it to reverse and every reason for it to continue).

We had an all zeros day today on the site, but it's back.  It does look like I lost a day's worth of stake rewards, but the delegation rewards seem to be about right. Claimed my airdrop (but no mining rewards) and staked the nice chunk I'm getting from pools as well.

Been a while since I put any money into this (not since the $36 I spent on land, which already seems like a lot considering they're assets for a game that doesn't exist yet and you can only look at them)...but I dunno, maybe I should boost my stake a little more (I kinda' wanna', but am a bit confliced for some reason)? 🤔
