*This 9th week was very exciting with interesting contest titles to discuss. Many participants wrote their best writings and so did I, and this time we are going to the end of week 9 and this time is the last issue of the week.
As previously announced, the title of this contest is about Bribery and Corruption. As we know there are a lot of negatives to both, and we've seen a lot of countries suffer from the effects of both, and that's really scary. And here I will explain a little about bribery and corruption in my opinion, and its effects on a country.*

Bribery and corruption are two things that are illegal in all countries, both of these things also have a bad impact on a country and can even make a country fall into poverty because this is rife in the country.
Bribery itself is a disgraceful act by giving money to certain people or groups in order to achieve goals easily and bypassing the rules. At first glance, this is a shortcut for officials to gain power quickly.
While Corruption is an illegal activity carried out by embezzling a number of funds or money in the form of real or in the form of an account for himself or a group. The money is usually state money or money from a state agency. Corruption can more easily be summed up as stealing other people's money for their own benefit and in a larger scope also in more vulnerable places.

Corruption and Bribery are clearly very dangerous and have a bad impact on a country. In essence, these two things are despicable acts of some parties who prioritize their own interests above the interests of others.
Bribery is very detrimental to others because it is an unsportsmanlike shortcut in competing or trying to achieve something. Usually in competing, we have to compete with several people who are our opponents, and the act of Bribery is something that should not be done because we will sacrifice other people who compete honestly and we make them sacrifices for our own success because only with a few nominal money or other valuables. Bribery itself is also a disadvantage for those who accept bribes, because they will accept candidates who are dishonest, always play curmudgeon, and selfish, because it can be seen when he competes with other people and bribes become his mainstay, not talent or talent his own abilities.

While corruption is very detrimental because the action is to steal some funds or money that is entrusted to them. Corruption can occur anywhere and in any form, basically if someone, or a group takes some money that is not their right and uses it for their personal interests, then it will be considered Corruption. The losses suffered by the place where they work and whose money they take. Usually the corruptors work under the government and they usually take some amount from the total state money that does not belong to them, because they have access to that money, so they use it to commit corruption crimes. For a country whose officials like to commit corruption, it is very unfortunate because if this is not followed up firmly, then the country will experience huge losses, be hampered from progressing, and what is worse, there will be massive inflation in the country.
There have been many countries that have become victims of this one crime, even these countries have not been able to rise again from their own economic downturn, and that is really very unfortunate.
If you pay attention, the perpetrators of corruption always target the large flow of funds from the government which they take without the knowledge and control of the government and they manipulate their financial statements so that their actions are disguised. Funds from the government that they take are certainly not personal funds and not for consumption, but these funds may be intended for operational financing, development, and other more important things. Because the fund is corrupted, automatically the government's performance with the estimated funds will suddenly decrease and of course if the funds are reduced the operation or implementation of an activity will be temporarily suspended, and this is a very terrible thing for a country.

Many of the government's own preventive measures have been taken, but many of them have increased and have made it difficult for the government to deal with them.
I also can't understand this and for me this has become a separate homework for the government in every country. Many anti-Corruption and Bribery eradication agencies have also operated and this is only a temporary fright, not an eradication. And after one of them is caught, they will find another way that is safer so that their actions are not easy to find out. For now, even the country itself is running out of ideas to eradicate corruption and bribery and this is a bad thing that will always exist in any government system in the world.

For me, there is no effective way at this time to eradicate these two criminal acts, but there are several ways to prevent and minimize them such as increasing supervision in the funding system and money flow, being more careful in supervising the performance of officials who have the potential to do disgraceful things. this, and be more careful in managing things related to funds issued by the state and the most important thing is that the recording and cash flow must be clear.
If this goes well, it is possible that the crime of corruption and bribery can be minimized and prevented, because some of these things are negligence and become a gap for those who want to commit criminal acts of corruption and bribery.

Maybe that's all I can explain in this post, hopefully corruption and bribery can end from this world and hopefully the country will no longer be harmed by these two things.
