hi dear Hivers!
I'be been working last week in a new project, and I want to share with you.
I always had the dream of creating a fighting game, when I was a child I used to spend a lot of time drawing sprites with my pen, and crafting clay dolls for taking pictures of it, and create motion capture characters like in mortal kombat!
so now I'm learning to code to create something like that, and this is my first experiment trying to add some "intelligence" to the machine character.
First I have to draw the characters! I will do a gladiators mini game.

Siempre tuve el sueño de crear un juego de lucha, cuando era niño solía pasar mucho tiempo dibujando sprites con mi bolígrafo, y creando muñecos de arcilla para tomar fotografías, ¡y crear personajes de captura de movimiento como en mortal kombat!
así que ahora estoy aprendiendo a programar para crear algo así, y este es mi primer experimento tratando de agregar algo de "inteligencia" al personaje de la máquina.
¡Primero tengo que dibujar los personajes! Haré un mini juego de gladiadores.

here I am drawing with the mouse in Adobe Illustrator! I took inspiration from the roman mosaic tiles art. And now I have the character, I have to draw the sprites for animation.
I'm drawing a layer for a stand posture, and the same actions but kneeling.

and of course, I have to draw a background, I'm drawing three sprites with the animation of the crowd moving their arms.

and after drawing the blood sprites and the buttons for playing, I'm drawing a "select character" screen, and an ending scene that will allow you to do the final move.

and after adding some coding in javascript. the game is running!
it was challenging to make the machine to respond, but it is done.
