Back, not even a whole person's life, you could carry a gun on a plane, as a kid, travelling alone.  Because you were popping over to visit mum and dad because they were heading up a company in Africa.

Now, the UK is trying to ban knives.

And, it is like, London, is a tumor.  Spread from the City of London.  That city has become... not UK.
But the rest of the country has also been stripmined of its manufacturing and agriculture.

Too many lies for too long.

So have you finnished the golf course yet ?  You make me want to move to Poland more and more when you talk about what it is like there. Have a great week.

It is rather ironic, although not at all surprising, that it is now Eastern European countries that are the torchbearers of European values and culture. I find myself thinking that I am glad my grandparents who went through two world wars with great damage to their families, their bodies and their psyches are not around to witness the destruction of what they fought for. Perhaps it is precisely because Eastern European countries were under the Soviet yoke that they know the value of what made up their intrinsic identities. I am glad Hungary and Poland gave Merkel and the EU the middle finger. A perfect example that civil disobedience can be more powerful than the diktats of bureaucrats. I mourn the slow death of two countries that are close to my heart (France and England) and am waiting for them and the others to finally wake up, and do so before it is altogether too late.
I am glad you found a refuge in Poland, and I enjoy reading your posts about your life there.
