Las armonías generalmente reflejan el estilo secuencial&nbsp;de las prácticas occidentales, las cuales Tchaikovsky extendía en una inmensa longitud, construyendo una emocionante experiencia de intensidad casi insostenible.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Creció rodeado de la&nbsp;afición a la música popular&nbsp;rusa en su familia. Recibió clases de piano desde los cinco años y siendo adolescente ingresó a la Escuela de Jurisprudencia de San Petersburgo. No obstante,&nbsp;su interés por la música no decayó&nbsp;y asistía con frecuencia a la ópera y el teatro.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Tchaikovsky fue&nbsp;el primer compositor ruso&nbsp;que pudo ver el éxito mundial de sus obras. Durante quince años, estuvo muy activo: compuso, dirigió orquestas y realizó giras por Europa y Estados Unidos.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">No hay orquesta ni ballet de formato mundial que no haya recreado los acordes románticos de las partituras de Romeo y Julieta, El lago de los cisnes, Sueños de invierno, Marcha eslava y Cascanueces.
