A los veintiún años se instaló en París, donde se mantuvo vendiendo sus composiciones e impartiendo clases de piano, por las que fue muy solicitado. Fue admirado por muchos de sus contemporáneos a través de sus más de 200 obras, tremendamente prolífico, a pesar de su corta vida.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">La obra de Chopin contribuyó a hacer del piano el instrumento musical más popular del siglo XIX.
