DemoniCore: Introducing Avatars and Avatar Shards!
Hello gamers! [DemoniCore](https://demonicore.com) is a [p2e](https://peakd.com/trending/p2e) HIVE game where you conjure demons to battle, and win [DCORE](https://hive-engine.com/trade/DCORE) for slaying them in simple turn-based RNG combat.

Players have already reported winning random Avatar NFT drops when they slay or exorcise demons, a surprise new feature of the game!

Avatars can be equipped to serve as the player's profile pic, and there are several dozen different Avatars to be found. I am not selling Avatars on the market, so for now if you want one, you need to win one by completing battles or exorcisms (the higher your [Circle](https://www.demonicore.com/how_to_play#demonicore-circles), the better your odds). But since this is a [Web3](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web3) game, if you are lucky enough to win one, you can sell them on [NFTMart](https://nftm.art/buy/demonic), just like any other NFT! 

Not only can Avatars give your profile some individuality and flair, it can boost your gameplay when paired with [Avatar Shards](https://www.demonicore.com/cards#avatar_shard). Today I'm introducing our first line of Shards, the **Blade Crystals**!

If you own a **Blade Crystal** Avatar Shard while an Avatar is equipped, the Shard gives you a chance to inflict bonus damage when [attacking](https://www.demonicore.com/how_to_play#player-choices-attack) a demon in battle. These [Avatar Shards](https://www.demonicore.com/cards#avatar_shard) are currently available on [NFTMart](https://nftm.art/buy/demonic), and future Shard types are in the works!
