I've been watching parts of previous seasons these past few weeks and have to say that so far, I think the quality is lower.  This could be a little harsh as I'm comparing seven seasons to three episodes, but what we are missing now on a little is new insight into the characters - they are kind of complete and the main focus is who sits on the throne.

Saying that, i'm still very much looking forward to the remaining episodes, and will be bummed out for a day or so when it ends!

Coming from someone who doesn't watch TV, I would strongly recommend it. It's an amazing show.

Just pretend it ends with Season 4. Don't bother with the rest.

They jumped the shark when they departed from neckbeard's timeline and inserted too much SJW crap

fwiw, Brienne and Arya storylines in the book aren't sjw crap

would have liked to see Arya stalk the Night King like atrained assasin, not pop out of nowhere like a superhero

the showrunners have no sense of battles whatsoever, and each mass battle scene is goofier than the one before

The last Game of Thrones episode that I watched was the season 2 episode 5.
I watched it on 2019.04.15.
I have a long way to go for season 7 and 8.
