How cell phone affect our interactions in person
Cell phones became our faithful and inseparable friends. According to studies, more than 81% of the world's population takes their cell phone when they go to the bathroom under the excuse "to entertain myself for those minutes." 73% check it when they get up and 75% have had to return home because they forgot.

It should be noted that this same study expresses that there is an irrational fear when leaving home without a cell phone; They have called this nomophobia and to complement this curious data that these studies share with us, one in 3 people looks at their cell phone more than 100 times during the day.

Now, this codependency towards cell phones happens in both sexes equally (man and woman), in fact, we can already observe that modern society cannot go long without having access to the internet; This was documented in an investigation carried out by Pew - a Think Tan. In this document they explain that 50% of modern adults assured them that having a day without internet for them is like leaving them in the 60s season....

The addiction and codependency that our society has developed for cell phones has evidently increased in recent years; Due to this, researchers from the University of Arizona, United States, decided that it is very important to consider how this problem affects us in the development of our relationships, the excessive attraction we feel for the cell phone and of course, the impact that this generates on the relationships.

Curiosities about cell phone use

It is the first thing we use when we get up.
Cameras are being left out because we take pictures with a mobile device.
The cell phone is our music player.
We use the cell phone to read the news.
We play on the cell phone.
We read books using applications on the cell phone.
They are leaving computers behind.
The cell phone has become a multiple world of digital screens.

It has other everyday uses.

People by nature need to be in contact with our peers and we have always remained in close relationships with our family and friends, however, since the arrival of smart phones this has been falling and that is how our evolutionary history dates it....

When we connect to the cell phone, we disconnect from our social environment

Cell phones that allow us to have direct and constant access to the internet and social networks make it easier for us to reveal our personal information, a peculiarity that did not happen with cell phones that do not belong to the smart range and this is because the current ones are larger and work with applications that were programmed to request private information when downloaded.

The evolution of these mobile devices was carried out with the purpose of keeping the closest people and we see this reflected in the behavior we have in social networks because there we want to capture or save our life although in some cases, it has happened that what is shared on those platforms is not really what we are.

In social networks we reduce our friendships in followers and likes, whereas before we had real friends who shared with us the true essence of friendship or familiarity. Having more followers on social networks today implies being famous among a guild of people.

There may be an evolutionary mismatch between smart phones and the behavior we have as a society because a cell phone was designed so that we reveal information about who we are and, as an electronic device, it responds in a virtual way because that is what it was designed for.

The problem is that during these virtual connections, unwanted effects arise for the development of our daily or normal relationships because when we get distracted with the phone, our attention is divided between this device and the person in front of us....

Cell phones are taking over everything. It has certain healthy challenges too.

Staring at your cellphone continuous could give you eye pains or anything of the sought.

At one point in my life, I got so addicted to my cell phone up to the extent that if I wasn't with it, I would have a terrible mood swing.

Keeping up conversations with people around us would be very hard and as such, we lose some people.

I guess cellphones are becoming the new normal. They're taking over. How sad.
