When I saw the prompt question, I already knew my answer. I have tried and failed to follow a system when it comes to my digital life. In real life, I have a simple routine. Wake up, pray, read my Bible, Yoga, shower, skip breakfast and head to work or my desk (whichever it is). 

But digitally? I’m a cluster fluff of messes. I’ve only been able to go as far as organising my phone and sorting things into folders so my screen doesn’t feel cramped or chaotic. I have tried to use the calendar and alarms but guess what? Even the calendar got tired of being ignored. 

Honestly, routines or systems outside my daily (real) life is just a waste of time. I learned to take things as they go. However, mentally, I have a priority ladder and I tend to start with those. Those things that I must put together, the ones with pressing needs. That’s the one I make sure to get doing first before the little ones that are almost insignificant. 

This sometimes is very hard too because days are unpredictable. Something can take your attention. I’ll say I’m a free spirit when it comes to my digital life. I don’t go where the wind blows, but I create my own path and sometimes, I create more than one. 

Now, I also tend to drop what doesn’t work for me. When I create a system and get bored of it, I create another one. Or, maybe I try to adapt a system and it doesn’t resonate with me, I don’t waste anytime I’m getting rid of it. The issue though, almost all systems don’t work for me. I’m not the one to be strict with a discipline or way of life, especially when it has to do with my digital lifestyle. I tend to try out many things and take the bits that I like, put them together and then work them up into a habit.
