SMOOTH SAILING?
I hit the 60 reputation mark. Hahahah! Been a long time coming but it's here. Now, I may not be where I'd hoped to be at this number but I'm far from where I used to. I used to hope I'd have made a lot of investment here on Hive by the time but yesterday got me thinking. Maybe I'm just rushing. Heh! 

I was supposed to buy CUB but it was a disappointment when I realized I didn't have sufficient funds for the swap. I mean, I needed BNB which is... expensive. @belemo advised I wait and that's exactly what I plan to do. Meanwhile, I'm getting my ID card to verify my Binance and also saving for a new phone. This one gets shitty each day and I am done waiting for it to behave. My laptop already bailed on me, so...

This month has been full of surprises and total...chaos? I don't know. For one, I went back to my old job after my boss called and pleaded I come back. I wasn't lenient on my negotiating terms because right now all that matters to me is my peace of mind. 

I told her I'd resume 10am and close 5pm which she had no qualms with but I suspected it won't last. One thing I hate more than anything is people going back on their word. 

She complained on Saturday that I was closing too early and I just laughed and prepared my mental baggage to leave. So yesterday I left after she tried to make me compromise my time. Again.

Anyway, yesterday I also ended with a headache after my ex tried to bamboozle me with foreign terms related to forex. It felt so foreign yet good. Over WhatsApp, he instructed me and guided me to opening an account. Three different apps, one account and a lot of stress. The linking got me nearly snapping my phone in half.

However, I managed to do just that and earn myself 2 cents accompanied with the $140 bonus I was given. I watched a tutorial video on Forex and to say I understood anything would be an absolute lie. 

Spending half the day with my ex on a phone call was the last thing I thought I'd be doing yesterday but I did and ended up with a headache that somehow exploded into a fever.  I learned a couple of things though. 

First, I learned to trade. Second, I learned to close a market. That's all. I asked the man to explain the terms he kept bombarding me with and this guy laughed while saying "it's complicated". Of course I know it's complicated, can you explain? No! He doesn't. 

An old friend of mine passed by while I spent my last hours at that place and we got talking about tokens. Since he was a whale on his own(I'd say mini), I told him about Leo and the LeoFinance community and also about CUB. I also told him about Hive and showed him my "little" wallet. 

This guy has three wallets. One for airdrops, his main wallet and the other for "whatever" as he put it. I had voiced my concerns about airdrops being dangerous and that's how he explained why he had different wallets. The only one he doesn't joke with is his Main and no coin goes in there without thorough research. 

When I brought up Hive, he said he'd look into it and the fact that I blog to earn it just convinced him all more. I also told him about Splinterland and he confirmed he played Axie Infinity. Infact, he's big invested on that one. I urged him to try Splinterland while cursing my luck that my laptop wasn't available to give him a demo and that my phone can't do such. We used his phone though. Logging into Splinterland(just the interface) and I explained to the best of my ability. 

Yesterday I learned a lot from him and finally understood what P2P is. I mean, I've been using it without knowing. He was telling me how he was nearly taken by SARS but was saved by the fact his phone was hidden beneath his bag, a bible and a facecap. Strange. 

I just had a thought. What if I can triple my income? Uh huh. I don't know how yet but I've been getting fun vibes lately. Yesterday, I took time off Hive totally. I feel as if I have taken Hive as a job and thus making me feel obligated. I hate feeling obliged to do something. I'd end up not doing it at all. So I took time off it totally. And Social Media too except for WhatsApp where I and my ex conversed about forex. 

I feel great today. Like a big ray of sunshine. It's refreshing and now, I'm gonna do what I do best. Eat!

Trading is a big risk I'm not willing to take yet. There's no way I'm doing that now. I'm still a hooooooge novice. I got bored and decided to listen to him talk about his passion. He was so animated I'd feel like a bad person not trying it. But wo, I haven't touched that thing through out today. Not for the faint of heart indeed.

To be sincere you really inspired me just scrolling down your blogs seeing all the efforts you put in to this community you deserve  more. Keep it up

Lol.. Forex is my thing too lol... The learning process is not easy but with time and discipline you can only get better.

Just 3 months, you are doing great! 

Iโ€™m surprised at how many people around you are willing to talk about crypto and investing. Most of my friends are either not into it or they keep their investments totally private 

Make sure to keep hive fun. If you keep it interesting you'll have more energy and probably do better here.
