I power up for the future

This picture was taken at Lover's Lock Bridge in Krakow, Poland. I can't wait to go back there with my wife and place a lock of our own on here. All of these dreams are going to be possible in the future because I have faith that the market will return and I am in it for the long haul.

As I look out around the platform and I see different people talking about powering down and saying that Steemit is dead, it really is saddening to think that so many people are abandoning this platform because of the market situation. If people would step back and look at the market as a whole, they would realize that EVERYTHING is down right now. Not just Steem. 

There are so many amazing things being developed on the Steem blockchain, like @dstors for instance. When the price of Steem was higher, everyone was wishing that they could have gotten in on Steem when the price was at the prices it is now. Well guess what?? Now is your chance. Stop thinking so short sighted and invest in your future. 

The Steem blockchain is here to stay and we have amazing projects being built on it. @steemmonsters has made an incredible amount of money and has some amazing engagement on a daily basis. @aggroed and @yabapmatt have made an great product that brings so many people interacting with the blockchain constantly. This is the time that so many projects are being developed and great things are happening.

Just remember that the bear market will end and then everything will go back up. If you invest in yourself now, you will thank yourself in the future. I guess I have to say this isn't financial advise or some crap though, I don't know. "Just Steemit" like what @Kaliju would say.

I agree. I am here to stay, until Steem crashes or moons, whichever. I think a lot of folks were more spooked by Ned's admission of mismanagement than by the falling price. Dan's statements that Steem is dead aren't helping. I have faith, but I can understand why everyone is worried and scared.

Everyone is worried, but they should look at the market in general. We can make statements about EOS being dead as well. Going from $18 to $2 that it is now doesn't look too good. But eventually everything will follow BTC and rise again.

It simply makes no sense powering down atm. 

I’be been powering up 50-100 steem a day since SteemFest and if anything I’m ramping that up. At least TIL I run out of fiat in a month or so s time!

I'm actually glad I got involved when I did a couple months ago. Not only have I experienced a great community of people who do their best to support each other, but I've earned a better wage as a creator here on Steemit and DTube than I ever did on YouTube. I am very interested in continuing my involvement here and building a new long-term investment in my future. What does the future hold? I don't know, but I'm hopeful that for those of us who are in for the long haul, it's going to be worth it.
