This summer I was going out to my mailbox to check the mail when a little bird flew up to me and landed on my shoulder.

The little guy was not camera shy at all. He hung out with me for a little bit and then tried to come inside with me.

I found out later that he had been nursed back to health by someone in the neighborhood and was named Jack Sparrow. Little Jack Sparrow visited me a few more times over the summer and hung out with me. One of those times was at a neighborhood picnic and he ate some Cheetohs with me.

He was a wild bird that just lived in the neighborhood. He was super friendly and would always come up to people and land on them. He tried to come into my house with me one time, but I didn't want my dogs or the ceiling fan to get him.
