# <center>The Community is Live and Ready for You!</center>

A few days ago, I made a post saying that I was going to be creating a community that focuses on photo manipulation and we were going to be hosting contests for the community as well. 

I also asked input from the community on a name for the community. @tarazkp was the winner of the 15 Hive with the name [Manipulation Station](https://peakd.com/c/hive-122516/created). 

Now that the community has a name, we are going forward with the first [Photo Manipulation Contest](https://peakd.com/hive-122516/@hive-122516/welcome-to-the-manipulation-station-community-first-contest-is-enclosed). We are offering 100 Hive in prizes to the top 3 entries for the week. 

There are some rules to the contest and community:

>You must use the image or images provided.
You must source ALL images used.
Entries must be made to the Manipulation Station Community.
One entry post per week, but you may include multiple final images in that post.
Comment on the weekly contest announcement post with your post url and a photo of your entry or entries.
The contest will run for one week and then entries will be closed once the contest post pays out so that @derangedvisions, @acidyo and @hiddenblade can judge the entries.

Be sure to check out the [contest post](https://peakd.com/hive-122516/@hive-122516/welcome-to-the-manipulation-station-community-first-contest-is-enclosed) and read it in its entirety so that you have a valid entry for the contest. 

If you do not feel like participating in the contest, but still want to show off your photo manipulation skills, you are more than welcome to make posts to the community. Just make sure that your posts are pertinent to the meaning of the community because spamming irrelevant posts will lead to your account being muted. @acidyo, @hiddenblade and I will be moderating this community pretty heavily, so be sure to follow the community guidelines.
