Hola amigos de hive, espero que se encuentren bien, el día de hoy les mostraré como suelo cocinar las caraotas o frijoles negros como se conocen en muchos lados, unos de mis frijoles favoritos y que me gusta preparar cada vez que tengo la oportunidad, espero que esta receta les guste, sin más nada que añadir comencemos:

**Los ingredientes principales para esta preparación son:**

-	500gr de caraotas.
-	1 tomate.
-	1 cebolla.
-	6 dientes de ajo.
-	Sal al gusto.

>-	1 onion.
>- 6 cloves of garlic.
>-	Salt to taste.

Comenzamos esta receta lavando muy bien los granos, recomiendo colocarlos en un colador y darles un buen lavado bajo el grifo de agua mientras vamos eliminando los granos en mal estado y posibles restos de tierra, ahora debemos hidratarlos, para ello los colocaremos en un bowl con abundante agua y dejarlos reposar un mínimo de 5 horas antes de continuar con  la preparación.

Pasado el tiempo de reposo notaremos que las caraotas habrán duplicado su tamaño, retiramos los granos que floten en el agua y volvemos a realizar un buen lavado, luego de esto las vertemos en una olla con mucha agua y colocamos a hervir a temperatura media unas 2 horas aproximadamente o hasta que notemos que las mimas hayan ablandado.

Picamos el ajo, la cebolla y el tomate en trozos muy pequeños, colocamos un sartén a fuego medio, añadimos un pequeño chorro de aceite y añadimos todos los aliños, la idea es sofreírlos hasta que los mismos comiencen a dorar, en este punto podemos verter todas las caraotas y cocinar, llegados a este punto procedemos a condimentar, podemos utilizar las especias de nuestra preferencia en mi caso solo añadiré sal pero cualquier sabroceador de especias mixtas es bienvenido, ahora solo debemos cocinar hasta que notemos que la preparación haya espesado.
