Wednesday walk around the Druzhben Lake

During my last stay in Sofia city together with @fog043 we decided to take a walk around the Druzhben Lake, which is located in the Druzhba district.

We didn't manage to go around the whole lake, but we really liked what we saw..
It turned out that the Druzhben Lake is the largest in Sofia and was artificially created during the expansion of the residential complex, after they dug up building material and then the place itself was filled by the rains and groundwater.

And we really liked the park, which has been made the same over time - it turned out to be a great place for recreation, sports, entertainment and even fishing.

We were walking on the south side of the lake and on one of the hills we saw the church "St. Vovedenie Bogorodichno"..a very peaceful place.

We continued along the alley that is located between the church and the lake, where there are many meadows and a small wooded area.
