Ok so very quickly, I just want to call out a major hax on the crypto community and coinbase.

It seems no one takes steem seriously , they see it as "just that blockchain for social media tomfoolery".

I beg to disagree, steemit is way way more than that.

Steemit is like that real good kid that has skills but no one ever respects, case in point, the fact that coinbase decided to "think" about listing some new coins and our dear steem wasn't one of them.

At first I thought maybe it was due to the inflation rate of steem and the fact that it has a never ending total supply, but then again, same thing can be said for eos.

I believe it all boils down to the fact that steem isn't in the news too often.

The one time the entire crypto community speaks of steem, it is because ned is laying off some staffs.

Talk about the crypto community looking out only for your bad news!

I get a lot of stick by people who are no longer on steemit, they castigate the site outside, they insult the makers, the users, they wish for its death, it is just so absurd.

Well, thats gon change someday. It is sure that either of two things is going to happen.

Either steemit dies with this dip or it evolves.

It seems ned is putting his all in community engagement and all  that these days.

Very nice move, a bit too late, but nice still.

Well, that's enough of my ranting , time to boost up steem!

@therealwolf is a good/bad guy here on steem, good because he cares for the system somewhat , bad because he is a bot owner, bad bad bots that ruined steemit. 

He brought up this initiative .

There are several reasons why steem is great
1. It has a very short and fast transaction speed and time, having just 3 secs transaction time and processing at lightning fast speed.

2. Its activity level is off the charts, very high with users continuing to engage and communities still very much active despite the dip.

3. It has a variety of real life problem solving dapps that are either already underway or are already running.

These reasons and more  believe should convince many.
