It's been an amazing time engaging with various members of the steem community as we all seek and work towards the free listing of steem on netcoins, a platform which has over 170,000 outlets and stores using its services.

Steem was nominated and is currently in the top 2, battling it out with verge to claim that free listing spot.

Now that's not to say that steemit inc doesn't have the funds to list steem on the platform naturally, but this is free and this has given rise to a community engagement effort no seen in a long time.

It's awesome seeing communities like @oracle-d, @dtube, @minnowsupport, as well as individuals like @anomadsoul, @v4vapid and a bunch of others coming together for this cause.

# How to vote for steem

Voting for steem is very easy

1. Head over to contest.gonetcoins.com, scroll down or use the search bar to search for steem

2. Once you find steem, click the vote icon next to it and you will be prompted to put your email address so a confirmation message can be sent to you.

3. Once done, head over to your email address and you'll see a link from the contest, follow it and you would have voted for steem.

Right now steem is just lagging a little behind verge, another cryotocurrency with an awesome community, I feel this is the time to prove that steem is a community that's strong and capable, lets vote!
