The mining was kind of an staking pool, because in HIVE/STEEM users can delegate and proxy, in any case we managed to drive some amount of HIVE/STEEM POWER which translated into earnings for members and for reviewers (those helping with quality reviews). Unfortunately it wasn't sustainable and reviewers lost interest so the project halted. I think we can revisit the model now that AI tools are available, btw I have quite less time available so things will still move slow (but sound). If you are interested on resurrecting the DevSTEEM please count on me!
