The Oculus
Built to replace the train station destroyed on September 11th, [The Oculus](http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/07/nyregion/as-oculus-at-world-trade-center-opens-so-does-a-neighborhood.html?_r=0) was designed to resemble a bird being released from a child's hands.
