I remember paying for the gamemaker during the pandemic when it was in the Black Friday Sale. And I paid fully for the amount that was out for the exports. I paid for android, html5 and windows exports. And after 3 years my money was wasted. 

Black Friday is here and they are going to make sure that they have new plans. But surprised from the opera that they are releasing the gamemaker for free for all to use. And they are only charging when you want to make use of the gamemaker for the commercial reasons.

Previously each of the plan had the high price point. Say like 99$, 199$ and so on. The enterprise plan was also expensive if you ask me. I was surprised that the plans of the gamemaker suddenly turned out to be free. I mean that rarely happens for most of the part. 

One thing one can be doing is the conversion of the gamemaker 2D engine using the Cordova. This engine makes some real good use case and you can even use it with the tutorials and the small games to test out your skills before you can buy the premium version of the game engine.

As you can see the plans are common for all. Except the enterprise version allows the export of the option for the console. Like say it can be pretty cool to use the app like this for game development. You can use the app for everything from building and getting a community around your content. 

However the thing is that you need commercial license eventually. And just testing out the feature is not always going to be any easy. Makes life a bit harder and in fact one time pricing can be good but paying for it and trying to learn this a bit difficult engine is a ride if you ask me.
