When Perfect Noodle met Perfect Shewmay..

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Talking about noodle, who don’t like noodle, almost everyone love it, right? And how if the noodle is freshly handmade, that would be better than just ordinary noodle, isn’t it? And best thing is in that same place, you could also find tasty fresh shewmay too, would it make you curious? Luckily we got them both perfectly in a restaurant..

The restaurant where we had our perfect brunch was located on 5th floor of an over decades mall.

You needed to go through their straight stair in order to enter this restaurant.

From their name, Golden Lamian, you already known that they sold Lamian (hand made noodle which made by pull and push by the chef) as their specialization. Outside and inside, you could find their menu.

They had their spicy cheese lamian menus, bbq combo lamian, rica rica lamian, also they got some new extra spicy series. They also had golden soup chicken lamian, extra spicy fried chicken lamian, beef ribs lamian, dumpling lamian, honey bbq chicken lamian and beef lamian. Also they still had lamian bbq series with duck or chicken as the topping. They also had some value meals with 3 choices of main dish: fried chicken hainanese rice, chicken mushroom lamian or fried chicken lamian and free flow ocha included. If you paid attention, you could see that actually they sold to kind of noodle, dry or served with soup. There they also sold hainanese rice as you could see. They also had some dimsum like dumpling soup, shewmay, fried springrolls, tofu skin springrolls, fried dumplings and also chicken feet.

For the drink they had choco shake, lychee iced, lemon tea iced, ocha iced, lime squash and orange iced. Not many choices of beverages we could choose there.

A bit unique because there you needed to order and paid first before you could enjoy the food you ordered there. While we ordered we could see the chef made the handmade noodle..

For the dining area,

this restaurant had a quite large and wide dining area. It was also clean and neat, plus it was located next to the cinema. They used natural wooden furniture and yellow dimmed light there. A nice place to dine in plus all of the chairs there had soft comfortable seats. Every table had some condiments like chilli oil, chilli sauce and others. Well I could see they organized the place well.

Our main dishes came first, both mom and I ordered BEEF LAMIAN. It served right away with the soup, with beef toppings.

While we enjoyed our noodle, a waitress came to deliver the SHEWMAY in large portion we ordered.

Now, let’s jump to the taste and flavour of them!

BEEF LAMIAN (HANDMADE NOODLE)

For the noodle, you couldn’t find any tastiest than this place. I mean it had soft chewy texture and freshly handmade, plus it served with tasty savory broth. Still it had super tasty beef sliced which were quite thick but soft, it also had veggies such as white radish and also green lettuce. The broth it had was super tasty too. Both mom and I enjoyed it much. Perfect!

SHEWMAY

Their shewmay served hot, it had soft thin skin with soft meat filling. The filling was chicken mushroom. It was super tasty in savory and sweet flavour. The carrot was cut and put at the top to make it more pretty. We loved it too, it was perfect! Luckily we ordered a large portion one so we got 10 pcs of shewmay, yum!

SO we found perfect noodle and perfect shewmay at the same place!

It costed us 141K IDR minus 7K cashback because I used a kind of e-payment there, it was totally 134K IDR or around 9 USD for the brunch but we really loved their perfect food and this price was normal.
