First time trying Somtam

Hello hive asean friends!
How are you this Wednesday? I hope everyone has a good day. Asean friends will definitely be familiar with Somtam. Yes, this typical papaya salad from Thailand is quite famous. But the irony is I've never tried it. Some time ago my friend and I visited a Thai restaurant in a nearby mall. At first we went there because we wanted to eat tomyam soup. But then we were interested in ordering somtam because neither of us had ever eaten it before. And yeah, after the food came, the food we ordered looked so delicious.

So far, as far as I know, somtam is a papaya salad that is given typical Thai spices and uses raw ingredients including raw seafood. Before eating it, I had no idea what it would taste like. But after eating it, it turns out it tastes delicious and fresh. The taste is very authentic to Thailand, namely sour and savory. Even though it's my first time eating this, I can say that it suits my taste.

Apart from Somtam, we also ordered tomyam soup. Tomyam soup is one of my favorite soups and I have eaten this many times. But the tomyam soup at this restaurant is different, it tastes very authentic. The soup is very fresh and sour. I really like the tomyam soup at this restaurant. Next time I will definitely return to this restaurant, because the food is very delicious. Even though the price is a bit pricey, Lol.
