How to Mint Your ReadON ZetaPass

In our previous [ReadON blog](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@dfacademy/readon-dao-the-first-read-fi-partnerships), I mentioned the projects ReadON has partnered with, including ZetaChain. In today's blog, I will walk you through how to mint ReadON ZetaPass on the ZetaChain network without paying a dime. 

##### Requirements:
- ReadON Invite Code
- ZETA token (Testnet)
- 0x Wallet

I advise you use the wallet linked to your ReadON account. You can easily import your ReadON wallet to MetaMask to perform it.

###### $ZETA Token
Every transaction on the blockchain incurs a gas fee. ZetaChain is still on the testnet, which means you can get the $ZETA token at no cost. 

Visit [Zeta Lab](https://labs.zetachain.com/get-zeta) to request for faucet.

Before you can request a faucet, you must connect your Discord or Twitter account. If it meets the criteria, you will receive 3 $ZETA tokens. This measure is taken to prevent abuse. Occasionally, the process takes less than 10 minutes, while at other times, it may take longer

Connect your MetaMask to ZetaChain Athens 3 Testnet via [Chainlist](https://chainlist.org/chain/7001), and you can then confirm if you've received the faucet tokens.

If the faucet doesn’t arrive on time, another way to receive the faucet is to join the [ZetaChain Discord](https://discord.gg/zetachain) and request it in the faucet channel.

After you have successfully received the faucet tokens and you're on  the ZetaChain testnet Network on MetaMask, you can proceed with the minting. 

###### Minting
Visit [zetapass.readon.me/](https://zetapass.readon.me/) and click the "Mint Now" button.

Click the "Connect Wallet" button, select MetaMask, and accept the request with your MetaMask wallet interface.

Input your ReadON Invitation code in the textbox. It’s a six alphanumeric and it's located on your profile. The invite code can only be used once.

After you input it, click on the "Mint Now" button. Sign the transaction on your MetaMask.

You will see a pop with the word Success. Click the "Confirm" button. Voila!!!
