Our main goal at Decentralized Football Academy is to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and pursue their dreams in football. We believe that every child regardless of their background or financial status should have the opportunity to play the sport they love and receive the support they need to succeed.

The impact of Decentralized Football Academy goes beyond just football training. We aim to instill discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in our players. We want them to develop not only as athletes but also as responsible individuals who can make a positive impact in their communities.

In addition to the football training, we also incorporate educational sessions on blockchain technology and its potential impact on various industries. We prioritize education and personal development because education plays a crucial role in shaping the future of these young individuals so we provide them with additional educational support and mentorship programs. We believe that by introducing passionate young football talents to this emerging technology they can develop a better understanding of its applications and potentially explore opportunities in this field in the future. 

We hope to empower the lads with new opportunities and avenues for growth. We believe that blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize various industries including sports and we want our boys to be at the forefront of this technological wave. We believe that a holistic approach to their development will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel both on and off the field.

Being part of the GRAPE community has been a tremendous boost for DFA. The support we have received from the community members has allowed us to improve our facilities, provide better gear, and enhance the overall experience in the academy. This not only boosts the morale and confidence of our players but also makes the entire experience more enjoyable for everyone involved. We have been able to acquire new jerseys, upgrade our pitch, and even provide smartphones for the team to explore web3 games and apps like STEPN and [ReadON](https://hive.blog/hive-167922/@dfacademy/read-to-earn-with-readon-dao). This not only exposes the boys to cutting-edge technology but also provides them with new avenues for learning, engagement, and even potential financial opportunities.

We will continue our mission of providing a safe and empowering environment for young footballers. We believe that through sports, education, and exposure to new technologies we can help shape a brighter future for these talented lads. 

To affirm the quality of training and development the boys received at Decentralized Football Academy, we are proud to say some of our players have been scouted and have had the opportunity to pursue their football careers abroad and three others have joined top teams here in Nigeria. Watching our players grow and succeed is the greatest reward for us as coaches and mentors.
