Ever wonder how to change your STEEM into Bitcoin? Wonder no more, I've got just the right guide for you!

When I had just discovered STEEM, I didn't quite understand all of the functions on STEEM (such as STEEM DOLLARS, STEEM power, etc.) and how to get money out of STEEM. Thankfully, I managed to piece everything together after a few days to get my first Bitcoin. Now I'm going to share how I did this with you guys.

<h3>Get STEEM</h3>

First of all, you should have STEEM in your account's wallet. You can get STEEM either through buying it or earning it.
You can buy STEEM by clicking the three lines button at the top-most right of your screen, or by visiting an exchange.
You can earn STEEM by writing articles and upvoting and commenting on other people's posts. If you're writing an article, make sure that it will attract attention. The more quality upvotes you get, the more STEEM you earn.

<h3>Transferring STEEM</h3>

Next, you can deposit your hard-earned STEEM into an account you have at an exchange. An exchange it essentially a place where you buy and sell different currencies. <a href="https://bittrex.com">Bittrex</a> is my preferred choice, but there are others that can be found with a quick Google search.
To deposit your STEEM into your account at the exchange, you usually have to send your STEEM to the exchange's official STEEMIT account (such as bittrex) with a memo the exchange will provide you on their website.
After you've transferred your STEEM to the exchange's account, it should show up under your wallets in the exchange inside a minute.

<h3>Exchanging STEEM for Bitcoin</h3>

Good! Now that you've successfully transferred your STEEM to the exchange, you can exchange it into Bitcoin. Head over to the "Market" page (or whichever page your exchange has its market on). Search for the STEEM-BTC market. After you've found the correct one, you can place an order. Prices will vary, but keep your price low if you want a quick sell.
Wait for the order to finish. It may take some time.

<h3>Withdrawing Bitcoin</h3>

So, your order went through! Congrats, you now have converted your STEEM into Bitcoin. The only thing left to do is withdraw it to your personal Bitcoin wallet. Your wallet can be at any Bitcoin wallet provider you like. 
Submit a withdrawal request, enter your Bitcoin address, authorize the withdrawal, and boom, you're done!
