#5 - Disaster on the home front

Well today as I am rushing to work I went to remove my clothes from the front load washing machine.  When I opened the door water came gushing out which of course soaked my pants and socks.  Not a great way to start my day. 
After cleaning up the water mess and unclogging the drain and restarting the washer it made  about 10 mins late for work.  
I show up normally a half hour early everyday and leave late . But because I was late for the first time since starting my job I was met with disapproval from my coworkers and boss.  
I guess it just goes to show you that as hard as a person works and is loyal to their company you are still just a number to them.  
Oh well I still am going to have a great day!

Update - come to find out the washer does not have a recall on it!  The service department said I did something wrong because it is not possible to do what I did.  I told him that I did nothing wrong other than opening a door!  Customer service is not what it use to be!

Yes it was.  After doing more research on why I was able to open the door on this wash machine is because it is an older model and some of those machines actually have a recall on that very issue.  More checking in will be needed.
