**Ausschnitt der Ballettprobe der Jugendkompanie an der Wiener Staatsoper**

Nach Corona bedingter Pause fand am Sonntag 04.09.22 wieder der traditionelle Tag der offenen Tür zum Saisonstart an der Wiener Staatsoper statt. Die kostenlosen Zählkarten waren bereits im Sommer online über das Ticketservice der Wiener Staatsoper erhältlich und rasch vergriffen. Dementsprechend groß war der Andrang. Das Publikum konnte hinter die Kulissen blicken, sich frei durch das Haus bewegen, das wunderschöne Opernhaus am Ring erkunden und im ganzen Haus die Arbeit der unterschiedlichen Abteilungen bestaunen. Zu den Höhepunkten zählten unter anderem die Ballettproben im Großen Ballettsaal der Wiener Staatsoper. Das Video zeigt eine Tänzerin der Jugendkompanie beim Training an der Ballettstange.

**Excerpt from the ballet rehearsal of the youth company at the Vienna State Opera**

After a break due to Corona, the traditional open day for the start of the season at the Vienna State Opera took place on Sunday September 4th, 2022. The free counting tickets were already available online in the summer via the Vienna State Opera's ticket service and quickly sold out. The crowd was correspondingly large. The audience could look behind the scenes, move freely through the house, explore the beautiful opera house on the Ring (as the Ringstraße is also called) and marvel at the work of the different departments throughout the house. Among the highlights were the ballet rehearsals in the Great Ballet Hall of the Vienna State Opera. The video shows a dancer from the youth company training at the ballet barre.
