my entry to the Shadow Hunters/SMASh Contest 269 of @melinda010100 shows "Grid Shadow".

The photos, the first of which is my competition entry, were taken during an evening stroll through the Schönbrunn Palace Park. While passing by the Schönbrunn Palace's greenhouses, I couldn't help but notice the great interplay of shadows - the alternating lines of shade and the vibrant green of the grass - a great contrast.

Historically and botanically valuable plant collections are cultivated in the greenhouses shown in the photos. These collections go back to Habsburg research trips in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Hallo Allerseits,

mein Beitrag zum Shadow Hunters/SMASh Contest 269 von @melinda010100 zeigt "Gitterschatten". Die Fotos, von denen das erste mein Wettbewerbsbeitrag ist, entstanden bei einem Abendspaziergang durch den Schlosspark Schönbrunn.

Als ich an den Gewächshäusern des Schlosses Schönbrunn vorbeiging, konnte ich nicht umhin, das tolle Wechselspiel der Schatten zu bemerken – die abwechselnden Schattenlinien und das leuchtende Grün des Grases - ein toller Kontrast. In den Gewächshäusern, die auf den Fotos zu sehen sind, werden die historisch und botanisch hochwertigen Pflanzensammlungen kultiviert. Diese Sammlungen gehen auf Forschungsreisen der Habsburger im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert zurück.
